Kristin: Today's entry

Now, I have to write another essay for the "My Family Recipe" National Creative Writing Contest; Mrs Ganesan chose me. Why me again? I have to hand it in on Friday, and besides writing a short essay on the family recipe, I still need to submit a family recipe as well...how interesting...

I guess I better go and start on it, or it will never be finished on time...I still have my theory waiting for me after dinner, and my research on styles of Malay and Indian music...sigh...(I feel like saying *wtf*, but I'm not the vulgar kind, get it?)

*On to my homework, here I go, here I go, here I go, on to my homework here I go, and my revision too.*(sing to the tune of some nursery rhyme...I can't remember...dum-dadadum-dum-dum-dum-dum, dum-dum-dum, dum-dum-dum, dum-dadadum-dum-dum-dum-dum, dum-da-da-dum-dum-dum.)Haha

Kristin: First Day of Term 3

It's me here, again. Haha, so far no one has realised that I have a blog, no, sorry, Wei Rui and I have a blog... -_-||| Good, let them find out themselves, haha... :p *breaks into a guffaw*

Well, I've got a new Chinese teacher Miss Chen, and my first music lesson kicked off a good start to lighten my mood--we sang the 'Beauty and the Beast' first song about the good day thing...nice and really hilarious, haha...I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!

Oops, I'm going mad here...sorry for that. Anyway, I better go now, my homework (for today. I've already finished ALL my holiday homework within the first 2 weeks of the June holidays, unlike many...sorry for the critism...)is waiting for me! Cool, I can't wait for my pet frog to arrive! It's free, and small, and I will take care of it if no one else will...

Kristin: Pasir Ris Park yesterday

I went to Pasir Ris Park yesterday, and further hurt myself while playing on the spinning disk. I tried to get on, and fell down, hurting my knees. Amazingly, I only suffered pulled knee muscles and a samll tear in my skin. Must be because of the sand which soften the fall...

Then there was this black cat near the children playground. She kept mewing continuously, as if she was hungry. Not once but a few times, she rubbed against my legs, and I scratched her head. Poor cat...

Carrying on with today, I continued reading 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', for the third time. Tomorrow is the first day of term 3, semester 2, and for Science, we'll be touching on ecology! Yay! I love ecology, because of the animals. I love animals, way more than humans, so if you excuse me...I'm sorry if I'm the quiet type. :)

*Whose in for icecreams? ME!!!!!* So I shall end here, since I'm off to continue my reading.

Kristin: Day Camp on 25 June 2004, Friday

Now to get on with the details...Well, I won't talk about the first game, since I can't really remember the name. I shall talk about the caterpillar thing instead. Oh, I just remembered that YiYee and I got a shock when we met Henry, HongWei, JunLong and HuaiBin in the girls' toilet; they were filling plastic bags for waterbombs...

We were supposed to move on chairs like a caterpillar while the games com members squirted us with the SuperSoaker or pelted us with waterbombs. I was struck with a bomb by HongWei, amazingly, my shirt dried in 15 mins. HuaiBin also squirted us with the SuperSoaker, though I didn't get much. We passed 'Ginny and Friends' and Yu Sheng said,"We cannot afford to lose..." I nearly pelted him with a bomb but decided against that as I wanted to save it for the last, in which I bombed both Jeryl and Aloysius. Well, the bomb landed on Jeryl's back and exploded onto Aloysius' face...haha...

We then played this jumprope game, where we had to jump through the swinging rope individually. Uberfrog successfully crossed to the other side 4 times, no thanks to the other groups failing to cross successfully. I don't blame them, it seems kind of scary when the rope swings in front of you dangerously, as if it is going to hit you. I was used to jumping in and skipping, so I wasn't really afraid. How I wish I can go rope-skipping again...

We then crossed the rope in pairs or individually. I was the last girl to cross and the rope swung dangerously, nearly smacking my face in the process. ChengHuat and JunLong(or is it HongWei?)used less force instead, and I crossed, then it was the boys' turn,finally...

We had lunch after that, and seriously speaking, the food was nice, too bad I was hungry after a while. You know, I have a high metabolic rate, so that explains why I eat so much but never get fat (wish I do...).

We played the curtain game after that in the bandroom. The game was really funny! Seriously speaking, if Christie and Christa are on our side, I think HongWei would have won easily. Twins are still twins...haha...I was against Elaine, and we drawed. Same section...sigh...

We then played the balloon bursting game, in which I protected my balloon fiercely, though I left halfway due to Elisa going to tuition and "leg pain and jaw pain". I guess I must have laughed too much at Mervin's fake Chinese accent when he was talking to JieYing about the Singapore laws while waiting for our turns in the pair jumping (I went individually.), and also due to my juniors' crazy jokes about things...I can't imagine Andrew stepping on some faeces (dog shit?) which emitted such a foul smell that ChengHuat, Joel, WeiXian and I were disgusted by it. How it stank...Due to the rafia string tied so tightly around my ankle, my leg hurt when I tried to walk. It still hurts a lot now...

After that, we played 'Dogs and Bones' on starch (flour & water mix). It was very disgusting to feel starch drying on your skin, and I could have sworn that my skin is peeling. I can't imagine so many people getting starch on their clothes--I would have gotten a thrashing from my mum if I came home with starch-filled clothes; especially since I was wearing my class T-shirt, YuJie would have strangled me for spoiling the nice design...haha...

Well, I was nearly caught by Henry for being so "dry", so I scuttled off as fast as I could go. I don't want to end up being "wet", like when we played waterbombs during the welcome party and I was soaked thoroughly by ChengHuat 4 times for "being so dry"...

I got the ball twice without getting starched. I must say, I have a good balance, haha. :p Well, it was fun, can we do that on the next welcome party?;p haha, NO THANKS!

The day camp has been fun, all thanks to the games com, and I've enjoyed myself thoroughly. How I wish WeiRui had been to AHS instead of DHS and joined band, we would have tons of fun together, I can say! All I know is that I had leg cramps now...

Kristin: Fun Time at Day Camp

Today's day camp was really fun, organised by the games committee ( most sec 4s and some sec 3s). It was really exhilarating and I really feel like playing some more, though it'll be fun if we could play water bombs instead, haha...

We played this game where there were 5 characters, Ultraman, Karate Kid, Red Indian, Swordsman and Horseman. My group (group 3)was Karate Kid, and this game is really fun and funny, haha...I won't say much, or I'll be filling the whole page...Wei Rui will strangle me for that!

We also played caterpillar, jumprope, burst balloon and finally, the starch game. I was no. 10, and that Cheng Huat is really smart, calling number 10 so many times. 'Dogs and Bones' in starch (dough mixed with water), what a headache trying to remove the stains which dried so realistically, as if my skin is peeling...When I reach home, I had a nice tan and a pale band on my wrist where my watch had been.

I shall update more tomorrow as my mum is calling me for dinner, so I'll stop here for now. THE SEC 4s IN AHBAND ROCK!!!!!!!!:)

Kristin: Good day!

Good day to all! Hope you really will be able to differentiate whose entry is whose, because I'm sharing this blog with my best pal Wei Rui. Why? It's fun to share a blog and update on each other, since we are in different schools...One in Dunman High, the other in Anglican High...one in choir, the other in concert band (with nice music and people)... :)

Haha, but AHband rules, you know! We've got a good BM, a good CM, a good DM, and my seniors are very strict, very straightforward, very nice, very "perverted" (in this case, Wang Zi is one...haha...), and also very lame... ...It makes band so fun and exciting!

Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy reading my entries (and if you are very curious, you can also go and read Wei Rui's too...) and post at the tagboard. Bye for now!

Hey!

Hi dere! Kris n WR here! Haha, nothing to do, so created this blog together...by 2 very good pri. sch best friends. Haha...Feel free to view this blog, though we may send you on a "wild goose chase" trying to figure out whose entry is whose...haha...have fun!
