Guan Wei's birthday

Haha, happy birthday, Guan Wei! Oh, tomorrow's wei Rui and Cheng You's birthday too, and the day after is Janice's birthday...wow, 3 consecutive days of birthdays? Cool!

As you know, I was kicked out of the video-taping for drills, but who says I can't have fun? I was kind of glad I didn't have to carry the tuba and march, which is totally way too heavy, haha...I believe some of us took this opportunity to try and carry other instruments. Like me. I asked Qing Fang to teach me the fingering for the flute's tuning note (without playing), and Shayne taught me and Yue Yang the clarinet fingering (which is rather complicated, by the way.). =p To tell you the truth, the marching wasn't good in my opinion, so obviously I was the only one who said it was lousy. It wasn't okay, because the dressing wasn't straight, and I should know... *raises hands to block out jeers* =p

Fine, take it that I'm in a bad mood then. (which I'm not.) Well, the welcome party is coming, why should I be in a bad mood? Huh, I just find it irritating that people keep teasing me about someone whom I totally dislike. Do you think I'll cry? No, I don't cry when I'm teased, but my temper has its limits, you know. I can flare up and become very dangerous, and watch out--if I can say anything that hurts people, I will, and I won't even apologize for hurting people's feelings. I would rather they hate me than for me to put up with the endless teasing. So unless you want a taste of my temper, please stop teasing me. This is my last warning, pray you heed or get hurt....

This week

I have nothing to say again, although I feel like saying what's on my mind, I think better not. It's so ironic, to want to say and still don't want to say. Very contradicting...

I'm now listening to Disney Magic, and I must say, the songs are interesting and reminds me of my childhood. I'm a Disney fan, and of course, the works of orchestral music are included in most songs. I must say my favourite is still Lion King (yay! Leo rocks!), because of all the animals out there...*grins* Circle of Life, He Lives In You, Hakuna Matata, Can You Feel The Love Tonight are some favourites. =)

I must mention that while listening to Symphony 92.4 yesterday, I heard "Memory" from Cats. The best thing is that the song is not orchestral but played by band form! Wow, the trumpet solo is a good player, and the notes are really high. Can you believe it? Spraining my elbow until I can't bend it while doing drills, is this a way of telling me that drills suck or what? *ahem, I'm just expressing my opinion*

Anyway, I really have nothing to say in here, because I don't want to bore myself to death too, so I will only be here weekly (weekdays--forbidden to use the internet.). All I can say is, I've already formed opinions of my teachers teaching me, and most are not good. =p A Maths is boring with Chihuahua around and Chinese lessons are mostly fluff and wool. I shan't comment any further, because I'm already bored facing the screen and writing down all this. I actually touched the computer just to make a birthday card for someone. (I think you might know who I'm refering to, if you are smart enough.=p)

Bleh, this is boring me, so I think I'll stop here for today.

I guess this poem isn't really that good, is it? I did it impromptu just now, because I have nothing to write in here. Actually, as a matter of fact, it's quite a lovely poem--just don't compare this with Iris' poem that's all, it's incomparable to hers, and anyway, I haven't done poetry for quite some time, so if there are any comments for this poem, just tag.

1st week of school

I'll be going to the library later to borrow books, so I'll keep this short. Okay, firstly, I went to drills but did not take them as I had a cough. Well, how do you expect me to stand still and follow the commands when I was coughing and covering my mouth to be polite? Common sense, isn't it?

Oh well, the book quiz is coming next Monday, and I've only read the books once, because I have the habit of not repeating a book twice after the first time I read through the whole book--I'll get bored, you see, though there are exceptional cases...My attempts to read the books again failed dismally, so I'll just rely on my memory on what I've had read 2 months ago during the first week of holidays...yet the problem is, I can only remember half of what I've read, so...I guess I'll have to start flipping through the pages again...bother that...*grumbles*

first day of school

The first day of school was quite interesting. We had our new principal Dr Boon, and she was quite an enthusiastic person. Very interesting, and I think AHS might be fun with her around.=p

Introducing my class of 3D, a few things to take note--dominated by no. of guys, form teacher Ms Han (top student in AHS 2002, just completed 'A' Levels last year in Hwa Chong JC), assis. form teacher Ms Ow (Ms Han's teacher in 2002.), 31 people in class, everyone has a post in class.=) (I'm the geography rep. I volunteered to be one since geography is my favourite subject. Hey, we can learn about tsunamis and earthquakes okay!=p)

Ah well, I believe I'm going to have a hell of a time in 3D because of the number of guys--the class is rowdier and lessons are funnier. =p I just hope I can do well for my tests and exams and achieve my targets I've set for myself!

I'm going to be very busy, because Mon: band, Tue: music lesson and piano lesson, Wed: junior band, Thur: sectionals (I think), Friday: band. If I can still score well for my tests and exams, it's a miracle... ...

A new year

Year 2005 is here, and tomorrow is the first day of school, anyone happy about it? Not unless there's band to look forward to and new subjects to study! *cocks head to one side questionably*

Okay, it's not fun at all, though I'm rather glad that common tests are changed to Mondays where we can have 2 whole days to prepare for it. But then, class tests are different...*groans* Well, if I want to do well, I better start preparing one week earlier before the test date! (which I seldom do so...)

Hmm...I wonder when is CCA orientation day for sec 1s--I long to drag those from my primary school to join band this very instance! I know my sister hates band (she just can't appreciate music...-_- ), and is going to join calligraphy in Temasek Secondary (Shawn, are you glad? =p), so er...I don't know what else to say... ...
