nearing the hols

Wow, holidays are coming, but no, they are not to be spent idling away...I have holiday homework, band and revision to do. After this years astonishingly lousy results, I'm not making the same mistake twice if I want to get an L1R5 of 10...

Anyway, did I tell you that anime simply rocks?

Anime

I just watched Channel U's DN Angel and Saiyuki Reload. I must say, I really like DN Angel!!! It talks about a normal boy Daisuke Niwa. When he turns 14, he finds out that he shares a body with Phantom Thief Dark. (Just call his other side Dark...) Some really cool guy who can fly, with With as his wings. (With is a cute thing that looks like a rabbit...)

Kind of like Yu-Gi-Oh, where Yugi's other self is the Pharaoh from 3000 years ago...haha...

Naturally, there must be an other self. And the other self is in another guy...I can't remember his name...oh, Satoshi Hiwatari. Daisuke's classmate.

Both are so cool!!! Oh, I forgot to add that Daisuke likes a girl Risa Harada, who has a twin Riku. Let's see...Daisuke likes Risa, but in today's episode, when he is Dark, he kind of loses his flying after stealing 'The Maiden', and he lands on the Haradas' balcony. Risa has gone in, and Riku stays outside. *think, girl, think* So, Riku sees Dark and she screams. Dark tries to shut her up, and he accidentally kisses Riku. Err...that's where the episode ends.

Riku or Risa? Who will Daisuke choose?

All I can say is, I'm catching every episode of DN Angel and Saiyuki Reload, every Sunday, 4pm to 5pm, on Channel U!!!

Saiyuki Reload is like a modern Journey to the West. I can't really explain the story, just go and watch yourself...think of Inuyasha...

EOY exams

Oh yes, now's the period for the last exams for the year! Err...except for the o levels chinese on halloween...enough to make us jump out of our skins at 12 midnight...

I can't believe I passed my grade 7 practical! I got the results last thursday. Only a merit, but good enough. =p You see, what made me freakingly agitated is that I could have gotten FULL MARKS for my sightreading!!!!! 2 more marks...I made mistakes at the end of my sightreading score, curses...

So now, the bridge to diploma...grade 8. You know what that means? I must work hard on my playing skills, and do well for my music exams (both school and theory). So far, I've been racing with Andy and Xinjun for the top 3 in class--tomorrow's music exam will be the final test to determine the top 3 music students. Oh no, I dislike losing to Andy--that 0.1 mark difference for mid-year is enough to make my blood boil! Chemistry stuff~~>> kristin's mp: losing to Andy in music. kristin's bp: getting a b3 for chemistry and music. kristin's fp: staying in an air-con room of <20 degrees celsius.

Now that's stupid.
