Today marks the one year anniversary of syf'05 when ahband took part in it. The day when we received Gold with Honours...
Words couln't describe the band's feelings, as we played our pieces, as we waited anxiously for the announcement of results, as we cheered jubilantly when the results were announced. A day to mark the standard of the band, the day where our hard work and determination paid of. We had reaped what we sowed.
Now the problem is the maintaining of our standard. Will we get a consecetive *sp?* Gold with Honours? That will depend on our attitude towards band.
I really hope that the current sec 3s and sec 2s will not rely too much on the graduating batch, and stand on their own feet. Seniors not here? Just try and play the solos yourself. Don't keep on denying your own abilities. It's ridiculous. If you make mistakes, never mind. It's okay, just learn the part. Every batch will lead the band one day, so please don't hide behind your seniors. Who's going to help the band next time if no one wants to stand on their own feet?
