I'm sick. I'm down with a bad bout of flu since yesterday. I wonder how I managed to concentrate during my HCL exam and Chemistry Practical...and I'm not feeling any better.

I was already tired when I reached school, and practically dropped dead when I reached home. Being sick makes one so exhausted even if it's just walking...Man, falling sick during exam period, and it's 'O' Levels somemore...

I'll stay away from the computer until Saturday, because staring at the screen makes me feel no better, if not get worse...

Yes, I've finished Weather Studies, and I know the chapter at my fingertips! Yatta!

Finally, the big 'O's have arrived. Today was Higher CHinese, and I must say, I enjoyed myself writing whatever I had got in my essay, though I think I messed up my letter writing. Haha, I was glad I could finish my papers on time, with 3 minutes to spare. Yay, one down, 8 more to go...

I wonder...tomorrow is Halloween...Happy Halloween to all. Boo. I remember giving this poster to my cousin as his birthday present. Kawaii!

I've braved through one subject, and I'll continue to battle my way through with my armour of knowledge, my pen sharpened like a katana and my fierce will to give my best.

I was watching KIBA episode 30, and after the episode, ranting about how Zed should have won, how Neotopia's stupid Ultimate Rules are pointless and how they have changed Noa so badly that he denied his friendship with Zed. (I'm one stickler for friendships as I value them a lot despite being an anti-social introvert.) Now Zed loses Amil Gaoul, but I doubt Amil Gaoul will listen to the thief anyway, since the spirit chose Zed in the first place...How I wish I could slap Noa, never mind the Ultimate Rules (of which I'ld dearly love to break them). I don't blame him for what he is now since that country is freedomless Neotopia, but I hate him for disowning his friendship with Zed. *dark aura*

Kiba is currently running 29 episodes. Tempura, Neotopia, Jimoto, Task. Out of these four countries, Tempura is still the best in my opinion. Righteous, something like Singapore. Neotopia is too strict--what crap about following the Ultimate Rules. Even a person like me will find it MUCH TOO restrictive--hello? Who says that true peace will be achieved when one follows the rules? What rules? The Neotopians should have told the foreigners every rule they have so that this kind of unexpected thing won't crop up! Bah, such rules...*goes off muttering, absently flipping through Chemistry textbook* Jimoto, no comments, not when it's under Hugh's rule. He reminds me of Hao from Shaman King...Task is a wasteland. Quite a rough terrain. Ulbacus is new to me, but all I know is, it's a very high-tech country.

My cousin introduced me a new anime called 'Kiba'. I've only watched part of the 1st episode, and I found it interesting. It's very action-packed. Heh, I have to agree that the opening looks like Shaman King...Still, I like Shaman King more, haha...

I'm now watching Tsubasa Chronicles out of boredom...not really, because I was reading the manga vol 14 I borrowed from my friend, and Kamui appeared, so heh, I've decided to watch if he will appear in the anime too...

I forgot to mention--I failed my Grade 8 Practical exam. By 20 marks. My piano teacher told me. Not that I was that sad about it; I kind of expected it somehow...The passing mark is 100 out of 150. Music Practical sure is pressurizing...even Theory is no better--66/100 to pass.

But if you like music, you won't mind working hard, will you? After all, we reap what we sow.

I admit, I didn't practise everyday. Haha...*rueful grin*

The haze is getting on my nerves--I couldn't even enjoy moon-gazing without seeing a bleak picture of smoke particles obscuring my view. All I made out was a blur orange orb. And the smell stung my nose. Curse the fires and their smoke! And to think I studied Geography, learning more about deforestation, air pollution and whatnot...Notice the irony...

YES, I WAS studying Natural Vegetation and Climatic conditions just now, drawing up two A3-size papers to collect the relevant information together. I seemed to have forgotten half of what I had studied for Prelims, but never fear, I'm back on the track.

I kept staring at the sky during lessons. The wind was strong and cooling, however, the weather stayed warm due to the haze. Forgive my memory which tends to reflect on the past--this haze is worse than the one in 1997. Nine years, and the image remained freshly brought up by this accursed air pollution.

Why can't my memory be put for other uses, like in my studies?
