bokura wa ima demo sakenderu

Bokura wa itsudemo sakenderu

Shinji-tsuzukeru dake ga kotae ja nai

Yowasa mo kizu mo sarakedashite

Mogaki-tsuzukenakereba hajimaranai

Tsukiyabure tobira no mukou e

The two of us are screaming all the time
Just continuing to believe isn't the answer
Expose your weaknesses and your wounds
If we don't continue to struggle, nothing will begin
So break through, beyond the door

Title of the song: Tobira no Mukou e
anime: Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi)

Basically, believing and not doing anything solves nothing. So believe in yourself, and go for it.

I wonder why I can't add a new layout for my class blog. For some reason, the new Blogger, though manageable, is harder to manipulate and upload the skin. I'm trying to change, or at least, try to see if I can change the layout. My efforts came to nothing. Never mind, I'll try again...

My class have already tasted the horrors of what I can do, so please keep your toes in line...*grin*

futatsu no omoi

Yura yura to yuganda sora e
Kimi no motto e tonde yuke
Konna ni mo chikaku ni kanjiteru
Futatsu no omoi

「ゆらゆら」と歪んだ空へ
君の 元へ 飛んで 行け
こんなにも 近くに 感じてる
二つの 想い

To these wavering skies
Flying on and on towards your origin
Feeling such closely
The two emotions

Taken from 'Yura Yura' from Naruto. One of the best Naruto opening songs ever. =)

07s210 has a class blog now. Set up by Jeffry, currently in progress. Seeing our class unity and class spirit soaring since Orientation 2, I am proud to be in 07s210. (If it were 08s210...how cool. My birthday class. lol)

I'm not a horror. Just because I frequently remind my class to hand in their GP work doesn't mean I'm bossy, authorative and egoistic. I'm just doing my job in making sure the class hand in their assignments punctually. I mean, why can't people have a sense of responsibility in doing their work unless you don't have the time? If you can't complete your assignment by the deadline, at least take the initiative to request for a few more days to complete the work. And I'm saying this--no matter what rep I am, I'll do the same. GP happens to have a fortnightly hand-in of assignments, that's all. If everyone hands in their work on time, I won't need to tell people to do their work and all.

This is just my distinctive self-assertion. Meaning, I have my own beliefs.

Let the fun begin during this June break...

oraegada

Korean is so much harder to pronounce, but as I studied it, I realise it's about similar to Japanese in terms of particle usage and sentence structure. Interesting. But hopefully, I can understand some Korean when I listen to the Korean dramas my mum and sis watch while I study in my room...

For some unforeseen reasons, I've started writing fanfiction, and posted my first chapter in fanfiction.net. Don't bother reading unless you want to see how "bad" my language is...I'll update when I can, but right now, I'm drafting my plot, and studying for the second round of Physics SPA.

The familiar tinkling of the ice cream man's bells is tempting me. Weather's humid, ya know. Not really up to do somethin' except sitting here with me blog and the Korean phrasebook in front of me.

Tto bwayo. See you later.

ano sora koete yukeru ka na?

煌いて 揺らめいて 蒼き夢 舞い放つ
花 燃えゆく

kirameite yurameite aokiyume maihanatsu
hana moe yuku

The flowers are set alight
Sparkling, dancing, releasing a blue dream

Ano sora koete yukeru ka na? I wonder if I can go beyond the sky?
If I believe in myself. If I do it. If I surge forward without hesitations.

Literally speaking. These are part of the lyrics taken from 'Life' by YUI. The ones in green are from 'Hanabi' by Ikimono-Gakari. Bleach ending. Quite nice, the anime is. At least now there is a sense of direction (if you go read the manga...). Compare Bleach and Naruto (I hate to do that, since each anime has their own strengths and flaws)...let's see, you decide for yourself whether you like ninja action or shinigami action. Me? I like both combined. If only Bleach and Naruto can be combined to form one anime movie, haha...but I suppose such stories only happen in fanfiction...Tsubasa Chronicles is not counted, since Clamp uses the characters' names and appearances but not the story combined. =)

Currently trying to learn Korean from a guidebook i borrowed from the school library yesterday, but the pronunciation made my sister and I crack up! Honestly, Japanese is so much easier to pronounce, but the sentence structure...headache.

Annyeonghi gaseyo. Good-bye

ii tenki desu ka?

I watched the free airing of Pirates of the Carribean 1 and 2 in the school library--really interesting show. I love the music and the pirate speech! Aye, I am disinclined to aquience with your offer. Formal speech, mate.

So to say, I'll be catching PoC3 on 28 May, well...the supposed JC1 outing after our learning journey, after our GP exam...Haha, I certainly am most interested in the music in movies I watch. Especially the upcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on July 12, and not to mention, the Deathly Hallows on July 21. (The book, I mean...) I am a music person after all. ^^

Band ex co (Executive committee) selection. I didn't apply, because I have no wish to be in the ex co. I know I won't have many words to say, but if I were to give any speech, it'll be even shorter than Cheryl's. =)

I'm a doer, not a speaker. Don't try; just do it.

Mayoi michi mo shikata nai

Doro darake yo najime nai tokai de
Onaji you ni warae nai utsumuite aruita no
Isogi ashi de surechigau hito-tachi
“Yume wa kanai mashita ka?” ATASHI mada MOGAite iru

泥だらけよ 馴染めない都会で
同じように笑えない うつむいて歩いたの
急ぎ足で すれ違う人たち
「夢は叶いましたか?」 アタシまだモガいてる

In the city I'm not used to that's full of dirt,
I can't laugh the same and I walked with my head down
People pass by in a quick pace
I ask "has their dreams come true?" But I'm still struggling

Mayoi michi mo shikata nai. Even the path of doubts can't be helped. Hope I can get it done and over with...I'm tired...The arrival of June holidays isn't much of a relieve for me, since I have a packed timetable too...

hito wa sukoshi na

oreta awai tsubasa
kimi wa sukoshi aosugiru
sora ni tsukareta dake sa
mou dareka no tame ja nakute
jibun no tame ni waratte ii yo

折れた淡い翼 君は少し青すぎる空に疲れただけさ
もう誰かのためじゃなくて自分のために笑っていいよ

Your fragile, folded wings
Are just tired from the pure blue sky
You don't have to force your smiles for anyone
It's okay to smile...for yourself.

Sometimes, I wonder if this is the real me. I am not the old me I know, the quiet introvert who doesn't interact much with people in class, the untypical boyish girl who is an extremely obstinate fence-sitting deadhead, the pure-minded and dense idiot who simply can't be influenced by dirty-minded and perverse thoughts.

Okay, the characteristics are still there. But my close friend once told me I was quiet and bold. Quiet among strangers and not-so-close people, but hyperactive among people I know well.

Next time, I better remind myself NOT to shriek so much--this uncanny behaviour is a sure sign I need my sleep, because when I'm tired, I tend to be more hyperactive and very unlike my old self.

2 weeks to gp exam

I'm feeling slightly better; better than yesterday. To those busy-bodies who were looking at me in a very bad state of coughing yesterday, please mind your own business. Haven't you seen anyone cough like that before? =.="' My ribs hurt a lot...

There's something wrong with blogger, but so far, I can at least post. My cousin whom I was chatting on MSN last night got fed up with changing his blog, he complained to me in that kind of desperate tone while I was watching my weekly dose of Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach. Haha. Never mind. I don't care so much. This is my 285th post by the way. 15 more to hit 300. Woot.

Hopefully you can hear the new song. Orient Express. MJC's choice piece. =]

syf 2007 11 may

We got Gold!

3 honours--SAJC, ACJC and VJ. SA is expected. Haha.

silvers--PJC, SRJC, TPJC *haix* I don't know who else, because I wasn't present at the scene.

The rest all golds. Hmph.

We actually made a huge blunder near the end of Orient Express, where the percussionists weren't looking and slowed down. WTH. Everyone expected a silver or even a bronze, but the results were unexpected. Generally, jc bands have better standards (than sec schools...-_-). Yup, that's what they said. Believe it or not, the same judges who slaughtered so many secondary school bands complimented the jc bands. Whoa.

Congratulations to all the bands. No one got a bronze or COP. And now, I am ready to catch up on my schoolwork and sleep--I'm sick. Sore throat --> cough --> flu. Urgh. And I did my NAPFA and all. 2.4 on Wednesday, 5 stations on Thursday, syf yesterday. Finally, it's over.

Two tests and one SPA next week. Good luck to me...-_-
