Shat yin recommended Eyeshield 21 if I like Prince of Tennis. Okay, I AM watching it, though I didn't like the character design as much as Tenipuri. But because I was reminded of Tsuna and his "Yadda! Yappari muri da, zettai muri!" and how he matured over time, well, why not give it a try? Shin Seijuurou reminds of Sanada. ^^
And all the weird moves not found in real-life rugby...just like Tenipuri. =)) *wishing for better character design*

Fingers itching to do handicrafts (besides playing the piano), I bought ribbons and revived weaving. I'm still a novice though...never mind, the library is there for a reason. XD

Hmm...anymore good, non-yaoi NarutoHP fics? Otherwise I'm switching to other crossovers.
Naruto crossovers are my favourite, especially with Harry Potter and maybe Bleach. Naruto and Harry are just so similar - orphans, bad childhood, heroes in their own way...they should just get along and be friends. Serious.
SO, Kishimoto-sensei has clarified our doubts! The leader of Akatsuki is Nagano, aka Pain. ^^ He looks better than Orochimaru, lol. And Uchiha Madara (Tobi) is part of Akatsuki, I guess.
And we're left thinking about war and peace. When there is war, it is when we appreciate peace. Not ironic that anime can bring this out. We anime fans and otaku may be labelled as such, yet anime reflects the world as it is, maybe more than the dramas we see...

Listening to two pianists yesterday (for my most pathetic Haydn Sonata -- the way I play it should be called 'Pathetic', no puns intended for Beethoven's 'Pathetique') inspired me AND made me depressed about the lack of time for my mock exam in April.
It's time I start self-learning Japanese during my free time AFTER my manga, anime, fanfiction and piano. But I'll need a kanji dictionary...

Prince of Tennis OVA 25 and 26 are out. Oh, Yukimura vs Ryoma Singles 1 match is divided into two episodes? I was hoping for a one hour special...but there is a special commentary episode by the Oshitari cousins Yuushi and Kenya!!! ^^

Yukimura is a scary tennis player. He removes the senses from his opponents and instills fear, it's kinda heart-breakening to watch Ryoma struggle against him. I practically skipped OVA 25 since it's not the exciting climax, just building up and probably leaving a cliffhanger.
I like the ending better than the manga -- everyone's expressions, Tezuka's smile, Ryoma laughing so freely for the first time, it's more expressed than in the manga. More additions to the anime -- like the third years coming back to visit them *Kaidoh-buchou*, Tezuka flying to Germany the next day...yep. Go watch the anime, it seems more complete!

Lovely, I haven't blogged in days.
Have been reading NarutoHP fics, trying to gauge which are worth reading. (Crossover mania!!!) I prefer those hilarious ones, like Naruto pranking the whole school *hell yeah!*, Naruto in his Oiroke no Jutsu *ROFL*, Sasuke and Gaara sending evil vibes at Slytherins *thumbs up!*, Sakura scaring everyone with her strength, Hinata and Neji questioned about their eyes *lmao*, Lee and Gai blinding everyone with their infamous "Nice Guy" pose and grin *wears three layers of UV sunglasses*...EPIC!!!

Anyway, happy belated Valentine's Day to Hiroki, Tomoya, Shota and Tatsuya. In Japan, the girls give the boys gifts, and the boys return the gifts on 14 March, which is St White's Day. (I got the information from manga and anime, obviously.) Of course I'll be mortified sending V-Day emails to them if I were to follow the Japanese custom! ^^ Haha...custom in Singapore differs. We also celebrate 14 Feb as Friendship Day.

Suddenly seeing the manga for Loveless appearing in Onemanga made me recall this shounen-ai series, and Qing Fang's words. She doesn't care about shounen-ai as long as there are bishies and hot guys in the anime/manga, and of course beautiful art.
I'm a sucker for bishonen and ikemen in beautiful art too. If only Ritsuka is a girl...lol. I don't mind shounen-ai that much as compared to BL and yaoi, since I'm not a fujoushi.
Finally, a kind soul translated Mousou Shoujo Otaku Kei, the manga version. 妄想少女オタク系 I've watched the drama...movie...I don't know what you call the four-part series that feature Ba-chon and Masei. It is a recommendation for all yaoi and shounen ai lovers, aka fujoushi, and at the same time provides insight to the minds of a fujoushi.
But I think it is scary if your friend fantasizes about the boys being homosexuals in the class.
And the manga is so hilarious I couldn't stop laughing. Honestly, the minds of an avid fujoushi!!! And the main character Asai is so... XDDDDDDDDD Yeah, but Abe likes Asai. And everything turns out to be a polygon...
ANNNNNNNDDDDDD..."Full Metal Prince" (a fictional anime in Mousou Shoujo) is a mixture of anime. I thought I saw Ed, Kikumaru with Ryoma's catchphrase...YES, I'M RIGHT!!! IT'S A MIXTURE OF FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST AND PRINCE OF TENNIS! Two famous yaoi inspiration, a haven for fujoushi fandom. I can't stand it though...*stamps out TeFu, TeRyo, TeOi and many other pairings in tenipuri*
Akira Ishida and Katsuyuki Konishi are some of my favourite seiyuu!!! Lovely, even if I'm not a fujoushi, I'm an anime fan.
And the Judo senpai looks better in live-action drama.

Ash is as idiotic as Sebastian. And why do I get the feeling that he reminds of Lucia's butler from Mei-chan no Shitsuji...as if butlers in white belong only to masters of high aristocracy...?
What in the world did Sebastian do?! Act innocent? Seduce the ladies? *couldn't control laughter* But yeah, the plot's thickening.

For the month of February, I will concentrate on my diploma pieces. To think that I have to take the mock exam in April, and with the limited time left to prepare for my exam in May, I'm more stressed than studying for A Levels. I cannot afford to fail, otherwise it's thousands of dollars down the drain. (and the exam costs more than my A Levels too; music teachers, musicians and examiners sure earn a lot.) I have high expectations because I missed out a lot in techniques...
I wonder how I got my Merit for my graded exams all these years...
The most well-prepared piece is my Intermezzo in A, because I'm familiar with the piece and it's easy for me to express. My Debussy Preludes are coming on -- I just need to capture the mood in some parts and improve on techniques. My Sonata in E flat, however, needs polishing. I don't know if it's the piano, but somehow I can't get the hang of what I want to achieve.

Comments: The mood of the first and third movements are brought out nicely, following the direction as stated in the titles. Finale is supposed to a stately dance, but all I can imagine is the people in Haydn's era performing a folk dance. Lots of leg movement (plus breeches and tailcoats and boots and wigs)
I nearly fell asleep listening to the second movement (either that or when I'm playing it myself), because it's relatively calm and serene. To put it simply, imagine the clouds floating lazily in a clear blue sky. All of a sudden grey clouds gather. Thunder rumbles. The sweet scent of rain falls, a moderate shower. The sky clears again.
I can feel the respect Seigaku has for Tezuka-buchou. He's really respected by his peers..
I like the song by Yuuta. Fuji's tango. OMG, that's real water! Toyoda is soaked!!!
The dances are getting better. So are the songs.
Mao-chan...KenKen...Yuusuke Seto (Choutarou A)...Mao-chan is really cute!!! Synchro dance was amazing.
I seriously think that the tie-break between Atobe and Ryoma is the most ridiculous ever to occur. And their entrance was hilarious, though the anime version was funnier. Full out forced laughter. Like a gag manga. XDDD Takuya's random part was...random. Atobe's song for Koori no Sekai was nice. *don't tell me it's also titled "Koori no Sekai" -- the image song by Suwabe Junichi was also titled Koori no Sekai*
They filled the ultra long tie-break with a song. Each person has a solo, haha. Sweat-glistened skin. Erm...shaved your hair, Atobe? XDDDDDDDDD I like the ending part. Tezuka so handsome in his uniform. And Atobe too. ^^ *Kazuki!!! When is the video out?!* The song is very refreshing. Compared to other Tenimyu, this song is the most enjoyable.
My god, they change damn fast. The finale song is nice too. Nice ending poses. ^^
FGKS and On My Way are the encore songs. They bring back memories.

Waiting for Imperial Presence Hyoutei subbed. I found the unsubbed version on veoh. Hyoutei's entrance was awesome. Very dangerous, very confident, a rendition of Koori no Emperor. Kubota Yuki really looks like Kazuki. But I think he looks better in person.
They really "bloodied" Makita Tetsuya's forehead during the Oshitari-Momoshiro Singles 3 match. Akiyama Shintarou has a nice singing voice. But I didn't know Oshitari to give data during his match. Only Inui and Yanagi do that...
Inui and Kaidoh are really good-looking. ^^ Takahashi Yuuta and Hirata!!! Nice push-ups, Kaidoh. XDD I like their duet.
TEZUKA!!!!!!!!! versus Kabaji in Singles two. Very beautiful match. Nice song, Tezuka-buchou. i like Dai-chan's singing. Very resonating. Hey, was that the Kyushu part? But I'm looking forward to Golden Pair and Silver Pair doubles 2 match. It was the best doubles 2 match before Rikkai.
It's been a long time since I started making paper crafts. I'm not so proficient with needlework, but I have the patience to stitch bits and pieces together to make my own handphone pouch...
Anyway, it'll be fun to make your own gifts as presents. I prefer paper crafts because the materials are easily available, and I'm the sort who enjoys using scraps to make a card. (environment-friendly)

Is ANBU inspired by this anime? I saw the masked people which look like fake ANBU.
Still, it gives me the goosebumps...*shivers* I don't know which is more unnerving, shonen ai or that the uke seems more feminine (in character) than me.
And that yaoi is originally supposed to refer to doujinshi pairings from non-shonen ai anime and sories. Excellent examples include GetBackers, Prince of Tennis, Naruto, Bleach, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings etc.
