Tower of Druaga ~Sword of Uruk has ended at episode 12. It's a nice conclusion, though somewhat confusing. Is that Neeba in Heaven or what? What about young Gilgamesh and Ki? Chibi Succubus is cute. ^^

I'm watching Gintama, trying to find out about the humour. Wondering if the humour is comparable with the other shonen manga I've read. SO far, Eyeshield 21 is the funniest, followed by Reborn and D. Grayman tied. But it really is a parody!!! Parody, comedy, sci-fi. I mean, heck, where did the Lightsaber come from?!?! Aliens (or Amanto)?!?! I like the references to the manga I read, like Bleach in the first episode. ^^

Shinsengumi? Hijikata? Okita? What the bloody hell, Peacemaker Kurogane has better-looking ikemen and bishonen in the Shinsengumi!!!! It's NC16 because of the bloody scenes. I watched it when I was sec 3.

I should try Air Gear, because the graphics look similar to Eyeshield 21, if slightly better. Haha, I'm into shonen manga now? Mostly those from Shonen Jump.

The personal coaches are kinda cool...I like chapter 277 onwards because the training is so hilarious!!! Chapter 278 is a good laugh material, especially the match-up of Akaba and Taki XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD If only the anime version is available...I'll be laughing and rewatching the video for a hundred times!!! It's funnier than the Yakiniku battle which had me laughing non-stop for days on end. But the end of the chapter isn't so nice...spoils the mood, gah.

Eyeshield 21 episode 142 is freaking hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!! The poker-faces, Ootawara, Dark Takami (reminding me of Inui...), all the intense moments, all the anti-climaxes by Hiruma and Takami. Damn it, I'll have to read the manga for Hakushuu Dinosaurs...I start from chapter 215, where this Oujou vs Deimon match begins.

So exciting, the match between Oujou and Deimon. 27-28 nya. It's like a touchdown for each school. 1 second left to kick off and touchdown. And Sena reaches 4.1 sec in the 40-yard dash. The ending is Sena vs Hiruma in the National Football League in America, years later. Wow, the English pronunciation is good except for the "superstar"...

XDD Takami's shock was funny. =)) I compare E21 and Tenipuri characters, and well, they certainly are unique in their own ways. I like anime with many unique characters, but they always arise with many yaoi pairings...I can imagine a Sena harem.

Kuroshitsuji epi 22 is nice. Deliciously twisted. Demon vs Angel. Sebastian leaves Ciel? This episode is depressing and very deep. And the Phantomhive villa is burnt down again. Yes, I like this twist in the anime, but I hope the manga is completely different -- I don't wish for the Queen or Ash to be depicted like that. Anyway, that Angela who looks like Ash's relative is an anime-only character. Even Pluto is anime-only.

The new opening song for Gundam 00 s2 is interesting. I like the video, and yet it doesn't sound exciting, hyper, like action-packed anime should have. But I like this development of the plot. It's better than Gundam Seed. Still, I think Kira, Athrun, Shinn, Rey, Dearka, Yzak and those pilots have better skills than the Meisters and Innovators.

Screw the subs in megavideo for Gundam 00 s2 epi 23. I'm seeing flies flitting around. I'm seeing old friends becoming enemies. Heck yes, Tieria vs Ribbons! But wtfh, what kind of a lame sub is this? “Dentistry Degree”? “For a world of fresh teeth”?

I had to rewatch in another video in anilinkz. Yep, Setsuna becomes an Innovator in the next episode. Kuroshitsuji is also veering off in a different direction from the manga.

Eyeshield 21 epi 112 starts off with Shinryuji vs Devilbats. Agon is very aggressive, and his dreadlocks are dreadful. The Dragonfly is an amazingly unpredictable technique. Saa, let Yuki-san debut in the next few episodes!!!

What to choose? Where to go? Do we still count points? Dochira ni hohoemu ka? Jikan wa iyanai. For this, for my diploma, for every turning point. I wish I owned a grand piano, or at least a baby grand -- grand pianos are harder to play than the upright pianos most of us own because we need to use more armweight. The only song I could play reasonably was Brahms because I had been using lots of it. I need a lot more arm weight for Debussy, and a hundred times more for Haydn because of the damn scales.

Flavour of Life

The most sensitive thing to a student is results, especially those important national ones. And grades are the only damned things on earth I'll openly shed tears. I can sit through tear-jerking dramas with a poker-face, I survive funerals and might be able to handle admonishments and failures and (I haven't been in love before) perhaps break-ups, but grades?

Unforgivable.

I am reminded of Hikaru Utada's song 'Flavour of Life'. Sweet, spicy, sour, bitter, bland. The lyrics may not be applicable to all our lives, but the title is.

Anyway, D Grayman manga is back! Shin Tenisu no Oujisama is a monthly issue *wtf* And there's a short story comic strip called Houkago no Oujisama 放課後の王子様 (The Prince of After School) which isn't around...5 chapters so far...

Anyway, still middle school?!?!?!?! No other spoilers. And of course, Ryoma's coming back. He's the main character after all. The timeline is like, what, the period between end of Nationals and moving on to a new school year?

What? Shin Seijuuro and Kakei Shun?! Both are my favourite characters in Eyeshield 21, plus Sena and Hiruma. But Shin is the best. =)) Kakei is cool, but he is more like Sanada than Shin, who reminds of Tezuka somewhat. Mizumachi is too easy-going. *thinks of yakiniku battle AGAIN*

Weird team names for almost all the teams in Eyeshield 21. And foul play before the game? Heh, omoshiroi.

The funny thing is, I was watching this idiotic part, then, outside my house, a crow started cawing. You know, either "ahou" or "baka" XDD

I wanted to play Bleach Shattered Blade yesterday! But the Wii wasn't working...dashed hopes. *sigh* I wanted to use Byakuya...

I'm too lazy to read Chinese subs when watching anime. So I shall just wait for the English subbed...

It's exciting to watch Eyeshield 21! American Football will never look the same again, haha. I should have watched it before I play touch rugby last year...XDD But er...American Football is for the weak and bullied? Provided you know how to escape. Somehow I find reasons for running so fast due to "constantly chasing the bus", "running away from bullies", "rushing somewhere" etc really entertaining yet true. Well, if you don't have time to exercise, just chase after the train or bus. =) Excellent for training bursts of speed. =D

Eyeshield 21 is hilarious too. I mean, heck, the puns! 大便 = big useful? It means "shit" ya know? *forgives all rajipuri puns* But I learnt more about sports by watching sports anime. It's just as exciting as those action-packed anime, though if you want amazing strategy, try Code Geass. My cousin said the strategy was very good. Maybe Sumeragi could get some tips? =)

Dino 10 years later is handsome. ^^ And onemanga.com finally has DN Angel. I still like this manga because of the fantasy storyline, amazing graphics and deep plot. I'm hoping for SatoshiRisa in the story. (especially after Satoshi turned into Krad of his own will to save Risa *extreme ^^*)
