After receiving my HW110 as1 result yesterday, all I can say is: shit. My oral speech!!!

Will skip Kobato for now, but I've yet to watch the new anime I've just mentioned. =) Not sure whether to blog about the Fall 2009 anime I've watched on AiM, but I'm currently on hiatus from the forums and blogs since I'm down with a flu, am coughing now, and struggling with arrays. Busy with schoolwork since my targets are relatively high, haha. A for HW110!!!

Well, when I told her about my grade for HW110, mum just said, "You should have taken a language major." Whatever. Can't I be the all-rounded one who can do programming, play the piano and excel in language? XDD And everyone assumes engineering people suck at humanities, language and communication. (is it? Wakarimasen)

WELL, no stereotyping people thank you very much. It's as if one assumes an anime-lover can draw or know a wide range of anime or enjoy cosplaying or collect figurines - I'm telling you right here, right now, that I can't draw well, I'm a fan of action-packed anime or anime with bishounen, no BL or GL please, I don't cosplay (maybe as a random passer-by? I think I might get bricked if I say I'll be "cosplaying" as a musician, lol. From Nodame Cantabile *shotshotshot*), I find figurines a waste of money and space, but one thing for sure - I fangirl over my favourite characters.

Hmm...how come no one really bothers with the musical aspect of anime other than listening or singing their favourite songs? Drawing your favourite character is one thing, but so far, I'm the only one who can play the music and admits it. Selected, of course. Music is part of my life. ^^

Miracle Train Oedo-sen e Youkoso episode 1: What to say, ikemen!!! I love Shinjuku (seiyuu: Okiayu), Tocho and Roppongi, but the conductor is really cool!!! My favourite!!! *flails* (sorry Shinjuku XDD) I wish I had gone to Tokyo, then I can have fun imagining the different stations on the Oedo line of 38 stations, haha.

Wow, if one can learn about the train stations in Tokyo, why not watch this anime? It's like watching Hetalia. Very informative. (anime that educates! Awesome!) Plot is weird, and fangirls WILL kick the damsels aside for their BL shipping (TochoXRoppongi? Why not an OT7, plus the conductor? XDDDD), but who cares as long as I get to know more about the complex lines in Tokyo. As long as it isn't BL anime, I'm fine with anything. 27 different lines, I remember my friends and I got lost finding our way back after our DisneySea trip, haha.

Lol if Singapore personifies all the train stations too. We have our EW line, N line, NW line, Circle line, LRT lines...

Fade to Black is now subbed. Ah, I've already watched the movie. Well, now waiting for Naruto Shippuuden movie 3 involving Konoha. ^^ It better be a nice movie (but the song isn't very nice...)

Finished Nodame Cantabile: Paris! It's such an enjoyable anime that leaves me hungering for more ChiakiXNodame fluff plus the wide expanse of good classical music. Ahh...but had I watched this before my diploma exam, I might have been depressed.

Off to watch Nodame Cantabile Live Action!

Waiting patiently for the other anime on my list...by watching Nodame Cantabile Paris. =)) I'm doing the compilation and editing of Task 2, watching Nodame, reading manga, and studying CSC101. Music is my thing.

I may watch Nodame Cantabile live action too, if time allows. Considering I ran through all 23 episodes of the anime in two days...urgh.

I MUST finish my Task 2 part today. Later I'm going to Esplanade to look for music books. Which reminds me - I got to renew my Premium membership if I want to borrow music...(does Esplanade have any New Age scores? Oh well...)

Nodame Cantabile

I finally picked up Nodame Cantabile, and the classical music is really amazing. I almost picked Rachmaninoff for my diploma, but I knew I would die playing unless I practised very hard. (Notice how only Haydn's Sonata in E flat Hob 16/49 is the only fast song I have in my repertoire? Intermezzo in A op118 and Debussy Preludes vol 1 no IV and X are slow songs)

Well, time to embrace the classical side of me. I love my slow pieces because of the emotion and style I can express. I fumble with fast pieces unless I practise like hell. I wonder if I can download the soundtrack somewhere...Nodame is very good at improvisation, but she can't play concertos because she's a soloist. I mean, to play with orchestras, the soloist should know how to cooperate with the orchestra instead of standing out too much. Well, unless you're playing the cadenza, show off as much as you can at that part, but when the orchestra is playing, listen. I know. I was from band. Same concept of listening to others.

Okay, going to work on Task 2 and study CSC101 now. Ja ne~
