I received a reply from prof. Yet, I still am not convinced. Okay, perhaps I did get a B initially as my lab1 can work, and in lab3, the non-working methods supposedly landed me in a C+. But the thing is, how did others get A- from a B when their items 6 and 7 can't work either, or at least one method is missing?

This is what kyoujou wrote:

"I have checked on your lab 3 marking and conclude that no change can be made. As mentioned in my email on the marking of lab 3, one will get around B if one gets lab 1 done perfectly. Your grade is C+ which is not far away from B. If you look at your lab 3 marking feedback sheet, you can find some marking on item 6 and item 7. These are the portions that result in lower mark awarded. Hence, your grade drops from B to C+."

Right...mine just happens to be selected on random, of course there are markings for item 6 -.- As for item 7, not my fault the hard copy turned out so horrendous that I got marked down very badly. If I can't change my results because of that, then I just have to work hard for my exam so that I can at least get a B-.

Lesson learnt: this course sucks. Or rather, the markers suck. Even if I lost two weeks of sleep and still screwed up 102!as2, at least it was better than these f***ed up tests.

Sigh...this is a bad academic year for me...

Grievances of a report

I'm still not convinced. My lab1 works fine. The hard copy is not my fault. My lab3 test methods can't work, that's all. So why am I given such a low grade? I don't care about lab5/lab6 since I know I'll be happy getting C+ (nicer phrase to use than "I'll heck care the grades since I know it can't work". I'm just that nonchalant if I know it can't be helped - low grades are better than plagiarism. At least I have a clearer conscience), but there's nothing wrong with my lab1. If one is talking about lab3 alone, Yanling's methods couldn't work too, yet she had an A-. And Chui Eng too had an A-. So why?

I've sufficient comments in the code. The indentation and hard copy layout aren't my fault. Stupid printer And my choice of variables aren't complicated or incomprehensible. However, I was marked down on all three. How? Why? I will not back down without having them clarified. I don't care if I get a B or have them remain the same - I just want to know why I'm graded based on lab3 alone when I should at least get a B for a working-fine lab1. If you want more comments, I'll be happy to bombard the whole code with comments.

I'm not convinced at all.

And I haven't even gotten started with how the marker spelt my name wrongly...Funny, even with my 400 myopic degrees, up close I can still see read fine. Without glasses too.

Somehow I really question the abilities of humans...superior to animals because we have language, we adapt easily to our environment, we are sophisticated? Don't get me talking about the cowardly/evil/bestial side of humans that animals don't exhibit, and how we are the ones destroying our home planet. (Stop blaming the cows for methane release!)

But I digress. From this onwards, I'll make sure to flood my code with comments, so much until they can't complain.

I downloaded my Flele. So cute! Since I don't know much about vocaloid, I went to search for anime flele. So far I have Greece, Meistoids (Meisters + vocaloids XD), Zero, Sebastian, Hibari and Tsuna. I'm waiting for more chibi flele, Hetalia or otherwise (Austria and Hong Kong please). If not for my lousy drawing and colouring skills, I would probably take up the challenge of making several myself, complete with dress-up and artifacts. Reminds me of those paper dolls that I used to have during my childhood, lol.

In fact, after my exams, after I get back from Taiwan, I will try to make one. Most probably handdrawn, lol. My favourite flele is actually Tieria, and he's now ticked off at me for ruffling his perfect hair XD I LOVE Hibari's reactions when I rub his head - so funny! Especially Kamikurosu. ^^ Haha, Hibari~!!

Gotta do my lab. I've been searching for flele shells, which is quite limited. Considering how hard it is to make them...I understand.

Currently attending the lunchtime concert in LT19 by NTU String Oke. The NutCracker, Swan Lake, Scott Joplin and Gershwin. My favourite is Swan Lake, no duh. And Waltz of the Flowers from Nutcracker. But I miss the trill by the flute XD Listening to the full orchestra is still better (especially OSTs. Awesome), ah, but I don't mind band too. What do you call an orchestra with modern instruments like the electric guitar and drums? Rock Oke? O.o I want to attend the FF concert next year!

That aside, I really want to punch Yukimura in the face for being such a bastard. Using underhanded means just to achieve victory. Only Shiraishi has the real skills, the rest are out-of-this-world =.= He's sadistic, yes. Yukimura and Fuji and Shiraishi love plants, and Shiraishi is decent. Hopefully the two bishounen don't influence him.....then again, Shiraishi knows about POISONOUS plants...HMM....

My favourite Rikkai character is Yagyuu. Megane FTW! As for Yukimura, my opinion of him just plunged further -.- Pretty boy or not, he's just WTH when he goes all holier-than-thou in tennis. I can write him like that in my fanfic, and Kazuko can punch him for all she likes...*thinking of creating a scene for that event* But Yukimura's mini album is nice! Such a warm feel to the character, and that duet with Niou, did it come from Pair Puri? =)

Reading Otome Gokoro serves to tell us that some girls really need to get a life besides trying to break up relationships and causing misunderstandings. Hello, you reject all the guys who confess to you, then try to get their attention just so you could make a girlfriend jealous? I don't understand why they get a kick from doing such heinous acts. But I wonder, if I were to be involved in such a relationship where a so-called friend (I don't have such friends, thank kami-sama) flirts with my boyfriend and get down and dirty with all the tricks from dramas and books, how would I react? Will I feel insecure? Will I seem cold and uncaring? Will I act differently? I mean, seriously, the tactics these females employ are too cliche -.-" Flirting, attention-grabbing, trying to get the male into bed (either they do it or not), confronting the affected girlfriend with a smug look of triumph...

Fantastic drama. Now to write a fanfic out of it XDDDD *bricked*

I wonder if I could include this kind of plot in A Fujoushi Saga? Not that Kazuko will be entering a relationship anytime soon (with either Yukimura or Atobe), and Kairyu's chances of a relationship are slimmer and I'm still deciding who to pair Miura with, but the obvious villain is Yasumi. Oh, oh, OH! I got it! A hilarious twist to this kind of plot! XDD

I finally picked up Arago. Nice shounen manga, haha. I sense a plot brewing, but so far no mastermind yet. Nevermind, there're only 10 chapters so far, the villain must appear later ne? Spoils the whole show if he/she/it is revealed too early. Bah, Patchman-teme doesn't count. He's already dead.

HOW TO DO LAB5?!!?!!?! I mean, how to declare file as linked list and extract specific records? Then compute balance for positive and negative? I only wrote out the ideas, but to implement it is another problem. We aren't allowed to use ArrayList, otherwise our lives would have been easier. Then I still have to worry about Lab6 test 2 weeks later, on the first day of Arts Fiesta.

But what I like about this story is, even Kyohei with his extreme good looks was shunned somewhat because of his pretty face. Too much attention, too much trouble. Yep, love this kind of twist.

I like SunakoXKyohei. ^^ I like Takenaga for being so cool, Yuki-kun for being so cute, Kyohei for being such a bastard that is a common trait in shoujo manga protaganists, and Ranmaru for being such a flirtatous dork. XD

Inui and Yanagi vote for each other. ^^ I would support Data Pair if I like BL - they would be my favourite pair besides D1 (the rest can go to hell, especially Pillar and Perfect which should be thrown into the eighteenth level). But as Pei Shan said, it's better to think of them as bi than homo. I prefer to think of them as hetero, except Koharu and Yuuji duh.
