Reading the latest Bleach chapter makes me want to cosplay Gin next year, complete with a photoshoot.
Gin + ANBU mask = WANT A GOOD SHOT FOR NEW DISPLAY PICTURE
(though I'd love a real photo of Gin with his legs propped on a desk stack-full of paper, and making aeroplanes of his paperwork. Yes, I found the fanart and thought it hilarious)
And yes, the first thing coming to my mind when I saw Gin holding a fox mask in the manga chapter (not dissimilar to ANBU) was NarutoXBleach crossover.

Facebook, Meiden?
フェイスブックがありますか？Meridianの皆さんはフェイスブックがありますよ！フェイスブックはmixiのようです。アカウントを作って、皆さん一緒に相互に作用します！
aka "Do you have facebook? Everyone in Meridian has facebook! Facebook is like mixi. Please make an account, and everyone can interact together!"
Maa, because we want Meiden to have Facebook for easier interaction and sharing of photos. I sent Tatsuya an email yesterday, and he replied half an hour later in English. I always like his enthusiasm in trying to communicate in English despite all the spelling mistakes. He never wrote in Japanese once. Same as Hiroki.
Ah, I miss the 2008 batch. We were so much crazier then, especially after the concert and everyone was totally kichigai (as seen from our photos). Hiroki and Shota really set the crazy mood. To think Candice said he (Hiroki) used to be very shy when she went in 2006. Wouldn't even look at her in the eye. The current Hiroki changed a lot - he teased me often, he and Shota both =.= Tomoya was more steady.
Haha, I find this 2010 batch has lesser bishounen,(what's the craze over Hayato, besides them saying his blur character is cute? Me like Tatsuya better - he's so shy! I know there are others who like Tatsuya too. Lol, my section's guys are pretty popular too *points at Hiroki, Shota and Tatsuya*) but who am I to complain? It's not my concern now. Time for me to move on (though I'll be pestering my kouhai for photos when they go Japan and there're cute ichinen there).

I suddenly thought of Arcana (Anthology) because of the themes associated. *points above* I need ideas and themes for fics anyway ^^ I've been trying to find the volumes online, but it's hard. I want to read the whole book(s), not just the scans. But it's hard to find (Chinese translations) simply because wherever I search, all show the first 2 volumes only.
Too bad not much comedy. If it were me, I'd write comedy for each one-shot no matter the genre. I live for humour, funny moments and smart remarks. And humour in the form of seeing others' distress is always funny (think Sanzo wearing Hakkai's body and threatening to shoot his gang with his trusty pistol. That omake was the funniest XD)
Though I don't mind using this format to write a series of oneshots. It's an anthology after all, with different themes. Interesting idea, might help me focus too...
Meiden Meridian mo ichido IV farewell
Meiden left yesterday. I hugged both Mako and Tatsuya (and told Tatsuya not to cry. He laughed and said, "Natsukashii." Hai, hontou ni natsukashii ^^ Nope, he didn't cry this time, lol) before they entered the departure hall. Then everyone ran up to the second floor to wave down at them. We were jumping up and down waving at them, plus all the random actions my kouhai could think of.
Oo, the tubists have a new sign - three instead of peace. LOL Last time it was 'KICHIGAI'.
Maa, I can't go Japan this time because of exams*screw YOG* though I did acquaint myself with my JC1 juniors, one being a former AHS kouhai whom I saw only once during a concert I attended. I'm trying to get their Facebook so that I can tag them in photos. (stalker? I don't stalk. I only play CA, look at photos, comment, then I go off to do surf the net for manga or fanfics)
It's the last time I'm seeing Tatsuya and Mako. I wish they have Facebook so that we can keep in contact, but they don't use Facebook. The only way is to use email, then again they take some time to reply. At least I have still Tatsuya's email, haha. And Hiroki's, Yuuri's...

Meiden Meridian も一度ＩＶ
Minako, Tatsuya, Mako, Ayana
They've arrived! 来ました！
Tatsuya and Mako remembered me, and Yuri didn't come. Aw...4 tubists, with two kouhai named Minako and Ayana. Eh, no males? XD Well, this time there were 102 who came, about 20 more than the last time. More girls too *sweatdrop* Some of the guys were kind of friendly *WAVE* and I saw some bishounen! But compared to Shun...XD
We combined sections with Euphonium and String Bass (I've 5 J1 kouhai! All guys and taller than me too! Wah, saikang max? XD) for a round of introductions. Na, Hideyuki-kun, mimi ga itai. Kikimashita XD He's from euphonium, very enthusiastic guy. Oh! He's sannen! I saw his picture from browsing Peck Hong's Euphonium pictures, haha.
They sang Cosmos immediately after. I of course sang along, since I knew half the lyrics XD
So the guy I took a picture with Hiroki was Ikuhiro. He's TALL, yes, taller than me. I didn't know his name, that's all (tuba and euphonium weren't combined). Yep, he graduated.
Trademark peace sign. Mako-chan is still so cute, if not prettier. She and Tatsuya have grown taller
Oh, btw, she introduced me Yui's imouto, who looked like a shorter and younger version of Yui. Aww...kawaii~

Cosplay plans
Just did my second batch of fillings today. The aftertaste of ceramic or whatever is weird, and I can't use the affected side until the next day at 10.30am
Later I'll be going out for a meet-up with the usual VAS peeps. Not all, but we're pretty flexible. We're one big clique who can hang out with each other whether everyone's present or not. And of course, we welcome new people to join us. We aren't mere otaku ya know, we also love our books/games/food like normal people.
And tomorrow, Meiden koukou is coming! I want to see Tatsuya, Yuri and Mako! I haven't seen the list, but Christine told me Tatsuya will be coming for sure. Maa, I'll pop by MJC at around 4.30pm until 6pm? Then rejoin the guys for dinner. I hope they won't be swimming into the night though - last time we went swimming, we stayed for 4 to 5 hours. This time, if it starts at 5pm, it'll last into the night, or at least until they are hungry?
I feel like cosplaying Vongola jailbreak Hibari. Maybe for EOY? Again, all I need is Hibird somewhere for identifying feature. But of course, this camera-shy cosplayer will hope NOT to have her photo taken...unless they recognise the character she's cosplaying, lol. I've never done photoshoots before, but if I do, VAS team and photoshoot please? Bleach or Hakuouki I don't mine, haha
AFA is going to be yukata tyl Hibari, I don't care. Tailormade too - heck, where do you think you can find a pure black yukata with a purple obi? Hello, pure colours without any pattern whatsoever? =.= I can also do his other yukata version, but it's still pure blue-grey. Nope, I don't want yukata Hibari with those prints...that one, I'd rather have a team to accompany me.
Why isn't there an official punk KHR? I'll be more than happy...at least I don't need an electric guitar unlike rock band KHR...eh, there is casual tyl guardians...but not sure if it's official art or fanart...

SYK otome game

This is when body switching is the scariest *guffaws* Hakkai and Sanzo should never switch bodies, ever. Coz Sanzo in Hakkai's body is freaking scary.
I had a sudden thought. Sanzo-ikkou, as they travel across the lands to India, can also have a major crossover fic. Something like Tsubasa Crossover Chronicles, except that it's way crazier because this is the Sanzo-ikkou we're talking about.
Sanzo rocks, seriously. So does Hakkai when he's being Yukimura-ish (na, Fuji isn't the sadistic one. I can't see why he is just because he can tolerate Inui Juice. Yukimura, however, fits the criteria perfectly). I love the part where they faked their injuries during a manly tournament (Spartan warriors with huge muscles be damned, this is lean and sexy ikemen we're referring to ^^) and left Gojyo wearing the champion - the stupid-looking swimming trunks and cape in addition to cash. (Goku was disqualified for hitting the referee.)
Favourite Saiyuki character? I'd say Hakuryuu just to spite the humans, youkai and deities. XD Okay, I like Sanzo for his god-be-damned attitude, Goku for being so frigging awesome in his Seitai Tensei mode (if only he isn't blinded by bloodlust in that mode. And Dr Nii can go to hell if he thinks Seitai Tensei can be defeated by a brainwashed Kougaiji with upped power. That'll be unfair), Hakkai for his scary side (I say, gentle people are always scary when angered. Look at Oishi. Add the extra beauty factor - aka kind, gentle and beautiful - and you'll wish you'd never been born), and Kougaiji for being such a bishie XD I'm not a Gojyo-fan, gomen.
BUT I DARESAY HAKURYUU'S THE BESTcoz I've seen S.Y.K, which is the reverse harem otome game version of Saiyuki and Hakuryuu and Gojyo are friggin' hot. *bricked*
Okay, here's S.Y.K ～新説西遊記～ (SYK Shinsetsu Saiyuki. I dunno what's the difference from Renshouden, but anyway...). Gyokuryu's my favourite!!!! ^^ Goku looks too...different from who I'd expect as the Monkey King.(must be Saiyuki addling my brain orz) Hakkai is the casanova, not the Saiyuki version. (duh! Saiyuki is warped, I say! Warped!) And Gojyo with the mismatched eyes reminds of...who...a kinder Saito.
Gyokuryu is like Saito, 'nuff said.
And if SYK is made into an anime, I'll be over the moon, provided it's as action-packed and bloody. Now, if only Sanzo-hime is like our favourite Saiyuki's bad-tempered houshi, totally kick-ass...sadly, one can only wish...

Ways to Invoke the Ire of KHR
Because I want to write some humour, non-romance fiction that are guaranteed to cause mayhem. Involving my tsun alter-ego Gin.
Most of the time, I am somewhere out of range, watching everything. The only time I am directly involved is when the enemies switch focus to a tall, skinny tomboy/reverse trap with a katana in plain view.
--SAWADA TSUNAYOSHI--
"Damn it, Tsuna, no matter how I look at you, you really are the uke in the series. No wonder fangirls love their pairings that involve you..." I shake my head, and skillfully ducks a blast of X-burner flames when Tsuna evolves to prove my theory wrong.
He just looks cooler and more like a bishounen, that's all. Blame the fanfiction summaries I read while searching for good, non-BL non-yuri stories. Now if you would excuse me while I concentrate on fighting Vongola Decimo (which is a nicer way of saying "kicking some Vongola ass").
It is excellent training for our young heir too, despite me being the unwitting tutor. If trash like Shimon wreaks havoc on Vongola the second time, he can thank me later for providing him with the necessary skills to slaughter them like chickens. Without magical objects.
True power comes from honing one's skill, amateurs.

What kind of name is Reborn anyway? It's not even Italian, and I know some Italian - blame it on music; why else will I need to know some French and German terms too?
Arcobaleno or not, Reborn means business. But, so do I when I am dodging and slicing the gunshots like no one's business. I don't need a tutor, only a nice quiet time to escape from all the battles fought and won.
Perhaps it's also Reborn's shower of gratitude for crushing his special bullets, but hey, gunpowder DOES create larger explosions, and therefore destruction! All you need is a nice, innocuous lighter or Gokudera's bombs...
"Reborn! Stop shooting Gin! You're ruining the house!" Wails Tsuna at the sight of the rubble.
"Urusai, dame-Tsuna. You, return me my Pacifier. Now." He aims the neon green gun at my head.
"I told you for the umpteenth time. It's NOT WITH ME!"
Of course it isn't. It's with Tsuna now.

Incurring the wrath of Hibari is as easy as crowding in the corridors or punching a fist-sized hole in Namimori Chuu's concrete walls.
Or rather, a human shape crater with one metre diameter around.
Again, not my fault.

"Shut up, I just handed my opponents over for you to rip them to pieces." Because they broke my blade. They who should slowly rot in the eighteenth level of hell just broke my blade.
"Wao." His scowl melts into a smirk, battle lust ignited. "Doesn't mean I don't get to bite you to death though."
I shudder to think of how fans interpret his innuendo-filled sentence, even though he means defeating me in his carnivore-herbivore-conscious mind.
"Your opponents are over there. Fight me after you've dealt with them. I need to get a drink..."
"They are unconscious. This is between you and me now." Hibari's cold eyes glint with obvious hints of the impending 'biting' he would enjoy...
Nope, definitely NOT the time to think unholy thoughts (mostly of how bloody the place is going to be, knowing the Cloud Guardian).

I just find this funny, despite all the BL hints (or rather, bi hints since he is practically chased by both male and female XD). Gokudera the bachelor: Shoot for 59!
Absolute chaos is always fun, and it's like this that I don't care about hints. Coz there's no romance, lol.
And this gem is pure win: C'est la Vie
Typical Varia with all their insanity, plus an interesting OC. Non-romance, of course. Filai-chan is like Fran. ^^ I want to incorporate that kind of insanity and chaos into my fics, but it's hard to with the settings.
It's like reading Snapping Point, but I'm sure you can still deliver the same amount of humour and irritation without using too many cuss words. Dignified insults are always very entertaining ya know. *Gin smile*
About time I start finding humour fics without romance (canon never mind, no yaoi or yuri that's all. But humour fics without romance are still better).

OMG, Kuroshitsuji II's OP video for episodes 2 is different from episode 1. It's definitely a revived Ciel! And a battle between Sebastian and Claude. ^^
I wonder if I should work on MTG VAS fusion fics. Fusion is different from crossovers, wherein the new characters fill the roles of the original characters. Example, Hetalia KHR fusion = Hetalia filling in the roles of the mafia famiglia, under different famiglia names and all, but roles of the Guardians remain the same. The characters may be OOC.
In VAS KHR fusion, I've decided that the Pack (coz of the werewolf XD) have different Guardian roles and names. Instead of Sky Guardians, we have Elements. Spirit, Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Dark, not unlike Sky, Storm, Rain, Lightning, Sun, Mist, Cloud.
Don't ask if they are similar, coz the only similarity I know is Spirit = Sky. The rest are freaking versatile, though I've no doubt Dark resembles Mist the most, even if said character is as capricious as Cloud.
(I used nicknames/gaming names to preserve anonymity XD)
Spirit: Dee
Fire: Kei
Water: Sakia
Air: Rin
Earth: Gil
Light: Rii
Dark: Gin
Whether I'll create a story from this, I don't know, because I am fickle-minded when it comes to writing long stories. But I may write related one-shots if inspiration comes striking on the doors.
Which reminds me to build my own fanfics...I haven't updated in months since February *knocks head* Gomen na, dear readers. I'll probably take years to finish my two fics, and perhaps come up with new ones for Hakuouki, KHR. I prefer writing friendship fics, but readers will expect more than friendship (and it's always nice to write sweet moments like a gentle brushing of fingers across her cheek or a quick hug or a soft touch of hands. Though I find it dubious - if two people accidentally touch hands, why do they blush unless they are attracted to each other? Otherwise just shrug it off and think it's normal.)

I found some nice fanart, and well, about 40% are BL =.= I can't deny the beautiful art though, though some pairings are freaking hilarious that I can't think anything but laugh. The KnuckleXAlaude pair was unexpected, coz you can't imagine a RyoheiXHibari nya. I don't know where 8018 came from either (Yamamoto the seme? quoi? Since when is Hibari the uke?).

I think I'm abandoning my Tenipuri Facebook. Shit, coz I'm running out of ideas. *pulls out hair in desperation* What to write, what to write...I really don't know. I might limit the characters to the National arc like Seigaku, Rikkai, Hyoutei, Rokkaku, Shitenhouji, Higa (including the coaches, Ryoga, Sakuno, Karupin, Yuuta, Mizuki, Nanjirou, Akutsu) because I can't think of profiles for everyone. Not even 40.5 will help because I need ideas to write. Now that I'm stuck with Saeki...
And my Fujoushi Saga needs updating too. But I need to draft out chapter 10 before I post chapter 9 (which is completed) because I must know where the story is heading. It's time for Miura to break off her fujoushi shell and get a grip on reality. It's time for Kazuko to be tested on the affections of the heart once Yukimura decides to confess to her. Help! Need ideas!

Hmm, if I cosplay Yamamoto (EOY/SOY/Arts Fiesta), I'll need to get black pants or borrow from Lizzy. If I'm doing the mafia version, all I need is white shirt (because I need a simple one. Mine has pleats. Maybe can borrow from Lizzy or Gillian if they're not using, or buy my own at Bugis for about $10. Unless I cover the pleats with the black tie.), black pants, his katana, his box, his Vongola ring, his wig, his black wristband. I'm not doing tyl Yamamoto, too troublesome to get his shirt (turquoise, the hell!). Maybe I should get a smaller blazer too, something more jpop? Or I can do his usual version: casual or gakuen. I still think mafia version is the best. The easiest too, haha.

Hmm, for Hakuouki cosplay, we have several options: Shinsengumi, military, comiket, rasetsu, gakuen. I'm leaning towards either Shinsengumi or military, but perhaps rasetsu version, haha.

Togainu no Chi, Shinrei Tantei Yakumo, Hakuouki II coming this Fall! I gotta read the manga for the first two titles...
OMG, the anime movies coming out this year! Gundam 00, Naruto Shippuuden, Hetalia...next year's gonna be a blast! ^^
Anyway, I'm browsing and searching for our Cosfest photos. The Hibari Lizzy and I saw with hyper Tsuna was such a bishie (and so was Tsuna =D) But too bad, we didn't take a photo with him -.- He's taller than me too. I'm willing to bet he's younger than us.
I see a lot of Chrome. And one pretty Mukuro (done by a guy). But otherwise, you don't see tyl anywhere. The other tyl I spotted wasn't as good-looking as bishie Hibari. Haha, so far, him and Lizzy made good Hibaris, one being a bishie, the other handsome (sorry, Lizzy makes a handsome Hibari, haha).
Should have thought of doing Alaude, but I've ordered the tyl wig long before watching the anime to catch the Primo arc. Oh well, hope to see them again at AFA, where I'll be in yukata version and identified by the colour code and Hibird preening on my head XD I want to do Yamamoto because #1 he's easy-going and can be serious when he wants to, #2 he uses swords, #3 if it were left to MTG me, Yamamoto would be the one kicking Shimon's ass.
Yes, I knew Shimon was up to no good. The thing is, what the heck is Vongola's Sin? What does it do? Why does every freaking family want revenge on Vongola when it is not Tsuna's fault in the first place? *speaking as Shinigami* Bloody humans who never learn...*sigh* Ah well, we know how it'll turn out. Vongola Decimo Famiglia fights Shimon, Tsuna-tachi wins, he may/may not become Decimo, we get to see tyl Tsuna (hopefully) and his famiglia, and well, this is how shounen manga goes. So I'm not too worried.
I envision the MTG me to be a Gin-like character, easy-going and all but serious when needed. And cold-blooded on the battlefield. The Blade Mistress does not need magical blades to win - all she needs are her skills. MTG VAS is not to be trifled with. Our guild is as crazy as Fairy Tail, most of the mortley crew belong to the werewolf's pack.

Kuro II : clash of the butlers
Holy crap, Kuroshitsuji II crossovered with Kuroshitsuji!!! Sebastian, our favourite butler, and Ciel! OMG, how we miss the original Kuroshitsuji! I personally like Sebastian better than Claude, who's just too entertaining with his tap-dancing. And Alois is sadistically cruel. I prefer Ciel. He's kind to his servants, compared to Alois who actually dug his fingers into poor Hannah's eyes. The hell.
But I will watch this anime to see how the story goes. Because I'm still wondering why Alois is a changeling. Kidnapped by faeries when he was a baby? Hmm, hope to see more Sebastian soon. We all love him and Ciel. And yes, I do NOT support a shotacon.
Heck YES, I thought I recognised Matsushita Yuya's voice in the ending (coz it was so nice), and it was confirmed. The OP was sung by Gazette. Chui Eng, go and watch Kuro II! Haha...
I need to watch UraBoku soon...maybe when all episodes are out, haha. And Senko no Night Raid. Maybe try Angel Beats too.
Alright, VAS plans for next year: participate as group in the competition. Theme: Bleach (Shinigami Cup Golden or Arrancar Encyclopedia), Hakuouki (drinking party and forfeits)...more ideas please. Throwing in Love&Joy somewhere along the lines...hmm, I suddenly thought of a crossover version. Hakuouki Host Club XDD
Ai Ore, the sequel to Ai wo Utau Ore ni Oborero, pretty interesting. I'd like a Mizuki harem though, with Akira as her alpha. XDD Coz Ran (who looks like he's bi but most likely isn't) likes Mizuki too. And Banbi can be Akira's best friend! ^^

Beethoven mania
I have to choose a Beethoven Sonata to perform for Ms Kee's students next year. Weilin is taking Pathetique movement 1. I'm not allowed to take 2nd movement *pouts* No Moonlight (TOO EASY) or Appassionata (TOO TOUGH)

- Nurarihyon no Mago - RIKUO-SAMA!!!!!! The manga rocks, seriously. Who'se afraid of ayakashi with them around? Pft, not even Kyuubi's cousin frightens me...
- Shi Ki - I sense horror and mystery here...and the art looks good. The trailer reminds of Higurashi...
- Black Rock Shooter - The long awaited series everyone's been waiting for. It better be worth the wait though...
- The Legend of the Legendary Heroes - Cheesy title, but hell, the trailer looks interesting! (wtf, Shion?!)
- Black Lagoon s3 - looks interesting, maybe I should try watching the earlier seasons to see if it's to my liking?
- Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu - I didn't read all the manga, but seriously, if the anime is okay, then I don't mind. (though I would like Barajou no Kiss or SLH to be animated...)
- Highschool of the Dead - I stopped reading the manga at chapter 7, I think...but if you like horror, go ahead. Maybe I should pick up where I left off...(dang, WHERE is my Deadman Wonderland...) It's totally L4D with a harem...
- Kuroshitsuji II - Where be my Ciel and Sebastian...but anyway, despite the change in characters, I'd like to see how different the plot is. And of course, the music. ^^ Hey, the trailer...hmm, Your Highness was abducted by yousei?! And, wtfh, another demon butler that sounds so creepy (and ignites all the shotacon BL that I absolutely HATE) when he said that sentence in the trailer...
- Sengoku Basara 2 - if it's any good...OYAKATA-SAMAAAA!!!! YUKIMURAAA!!! XDD
- Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin - occult, mystery, comedy...hope it's worth watching though...I like the soundtrack XD
