Winter 2011 is boring. Well, I'm reading Kimi ni Todoke manga (and putting it on hold), so I shan't watch the anime.

Maybe I should just find some fanfiction to read.........when I'm free, of course. Currently drawing diagrams and whatnot (ie tutorials), and trying not to think of the semester. It's extremely project-heavy. I won't be able to go for any outings without compromising on sleep.

I'll learn some new dances to keep myself active....

番凩 tsugai kogarashi. The song is originally a duet by Meiko and Kaito. I found another version by GakupoXLuka, but for this song, I prefer Kaito and Meiko's. Though video-wise, Luka and Gakupo's nicer. (if only the Meiko and Kaito video has better art....but I shall not complain.)

Watching the last episode of Juui Dolittle. I think if someone were to come up with a veterinarian-style Trauma Team game or something, count me in.

I found many many dances which I prefer over the MMD ones. (lol, MMD. Not MikuMiku Dance but Many Many Dance XDD) My favourite ones are by butsudan kamen 仏壇仮面 coz he's really good. He did his version of Strobo Nights, which I can't find the video of. And DO@RAT too - she's the awesome dancer whom I first noticed from Only My Railgun and Level 5 Judgelight. She's part of the group 2D-CH@MPLE! Another group DOF団 has nice dances too, if anyone wants group dances.

Speaking of galaxy-destroying, I suddenly thought of Gurren Lagaan when the professor talked about how small we are on the many galaxies that exist out there. The Milky Way is just a small galaxy among the millions of other galaxies out there. So I suppose, if one wants to talk about destroying the universe, I probably will scoff and say "Go ahead. There're other galaxies that exist beyond the Milky Way, like Andromeda."

VAS has changed my life.

It was fun the first time I entered the club in year one. It was rowdy, everyone was more involved, everyone wasn't that clique-ish. I had more fun than my JC days (though I enjoyed my J1 more than J2).

As time went by, I noticed changes. Jarring changes. Changes within the VAS people around me. Changes within myself. Maybe because we're getting busier (I doubt so. Schoolwork is but an excuse - I still see people fangirling/fanboying over their interests when they should be doing tutorials.). Maybe because of the environment. Maybe because I've had enough of people. Maybe because I'm not used to being part of such a large group. Maybe because I'm trying my best to get everyone and everything together and nothing seems to work.

I don't know why it feels so asphyxiating.

Are my instincts pushing me to take matters into my own hands?

Why am I thinking these introspective thoughts? Why am I still trying to reach the water surface? Why do I long to punch a hole through the wall or flare up and start wreaking the whole place just to get people to listen just for once, even though I'm not officially a leader? Why do I feel such ire? Why am I more hot-tempered?

(to answer the third question, I AM tempted to do that just to get people to listen, and I WILL do it. If I'm not that pissed yet, I will tell those who do not want to listen to get out of the room since they have nothing to contribute. If I were in a very bad mood, I might just unplug the laptop or pick it up, then throw it outside. Anything to get people to take me seriously. This is the reason why I usually will not take on leadership positions unless circumstances arise. Assisting, yes. Actual leader, no. I'm very task-oriented, and I can be very strict and obstinate and straightforward when I feel people aren't contributing enough. If I have offended anyone, I apologize beforehand, but I will not eat my words.)

TCT-LT is really cool. I don't mind having lectures there more often.....if only the lecturers were better too...T_T

Reading the case study for Friday's quiz....what the heck is all it about? -.-" I'm staring into the face of budget plans and statistics and tax implementations and I've no idea which are honestly related to the course. Unless you want me to break down the components and apply them to software engineering...I might as well go write a thesis about it...(at least I'll have surer chances of scoring at least Bs compared to what I'm studying now...which is why I'm happy despite the rather heavy workload this semester. Report writing? No problem, leave it to me to polish them up. Just contribute the ideas, and I'll rewrite them nicely for presentation XD)

I don't wanna screw up my courses, nuh-uh.

I slept during my first lecture today. Coz it's after lunch. I have a habit of taking a nap after lunch, especially if it's after 1.30pm....(and the lecturer's voice bored me. Gotta spend my money of sweets to keep me awake during lectures now. Or find something to keep myself awake, like transcribe my songs, or come up with fanfic ideas, or plan for cosplay.)

*sigh* Astronomy lecture begins this week. I thought I could go to school late. In the end, I've to attend the lecture...oh well, I love Astronomy, so I shan't complain.

Suda Masaki's in the drama....as a pretty face? O.o I know he hates his father's way of thinking, I can't stand his brother either (though that scary expression of his....I wonder if I can try to imitate....)

They couldn't save the stray dog's life. Though sad, it was realistic considering the number of days its injuries were untreated. Excellent. At least the drama doesn't have all the unrealistic traits like Godhand Teru (I wonder if there are times where Teru didn't manage to save a life. I didn't read the manga, so I don't know. The drama didn't show any failures. It's way better than Trauma Team. Teru can do better than that bishie doctor whose name I can't be bothered to remember.)

Like I said, as long as the animals are saved, I don't care about the politics. Or rather, animals first, politics later. But er, forking 3 million yen...hmm....money or an animal's life? If the animal can be saved, will you recommend euthanasia to save the burden of caring for the animal who may need extensive care in the future?

I'm posting more at LJ, but I think compared to this, my LJ's more about the happenings than rants and squeals. Like in the latest KHR chapter. I've always entertained the thought of a one-man army. Besides Shizuo, Hibari's another one-man army (Sengoku Basara is just pure lolz. I've never been an Oda Nobunaga supporter, and never will be.).

Kuragehime sounds interesting. Yeah, before the anime, I've come across the manga, but didn't like the art...though I admit the plot sounded interesting. (fujoushi again, haha. Nothing beats Mousou Shoujo Otaku Kei though XD) I may....put it on my list....currently reading Kimi ni Todoke (the DAWWW factor is getting to me, though I just wish they'd hurry up and confess to each other)

Juui Dolittle

Watching Juui Dolittle dorama now (Veterinarian Dolittle). Even if you can't stand Tottori-sensei's bastard attitude, you have to admit he really loves animals (though charging 1 million yen for the treatment of a cat is like WTF?! But we see these kind of bastards in anime, so it's no big deal for us, haha). (In fact, I used to be cold around humans when I was young, so seeing Tottori was like seeing my past self, though I wasn't as bastard as him -.-" I just preferred animals to humans) But what comes after a successful operation is the pet owner's responsibilities. If people are willing to fork out huge sums to cure a family member, why not a pet?

Damn, this drama is awesome. Maybe because I love animals, and they're showing the bonds between pets and pet owners. Seeing all that, doesn't it make us angry when there are irresponsible pet owners around?

Though I'll  be amused if Tottori is like the vet version of Teru - GOD HANDS! XDD

Dammit, I wanted to go to my cousin's place, in fact I wouldn't have minded, but my parents told me they weren't planning to go, and I had given my affirmative that I would go Marina Bay Sands with my Page One colleagues (part-time). And now dad tells me my cousins Helen, Yee Ping and Min Kai are going today. Like wtf. I already am rejecting the studio invitation Ms Kee gave me (to watch her students play their exam pieces and give some tips for improvement). Today is a day where whoever books me first or whatever is priority will guarantee my presence (somewhat). No way will I give last minute replies unless something really crops up last minute (like sudden change in lesson timing, which is unavoidable since my teacher always does that. I've long gotten used to it, but it makes planning hard on the weekends....)

And he wears glasses! *___* I'd say he's handsome rather than pretty...the only pretty boy I acknowledge as such was/is Shun. If I could dig out my old photos you'll probably agree).

Hiroki was a camera hogger. I wonder how's he doing now, but as fleeting as our meeting was, life goes on.

If you come across this humble blog of mine, that means you are given the privilege to view it...ah...because the name is rather hard to spell...and usually I don't tell anyone. I took it from my favourite character in one of the novels. He was an elven assassin who died by mistake. I liked the name, and I liked him, book character and all, so I thought I'd remember him through this.

I do have wordpress and LJ, but I rarely use it. Well, since my friends use LJ, I am connected to them via their LJ usernames. As for wordpress....I use it for fic ideas, and ideas only. So naturally, it isn't accessible to others too simply because I haven't told anyone the link. But I'll try to spice up my LJ....if only because LJ communities have way more fandom than my random musings......I joined some....and Hetalia LJ spams my friends page like nobody's business =.=

I'm glad I went to Science Centre and CSI yesterday. It was really fun. It took my mind off the exam results and I felt better after concentrating on solving the cases and reliving childhood memories exploring the Science Centre.

Fuck the pineapples, what in Dai Maou's name happened to the bell curve?! My GPA plunged like nobody's business. I mean, where did the lab results go? They didn't help at all! My core modules, all of them laughing mockingly at me. (read between the lines) The courses were manageable, honestly speaking. I thought I could at least do better than the abysmal crap I see on the stupid report. But no, the only core module I managed to do okay was essay-based. And I even skipped half the lectures because they were making me sleepy.

I'm not the only one who didn't do as well this semester, but my pineapples just took a plunge. When you guys decide to throw vending machines, call me. I'll contribute by stabbing broken chopsticks into tables in addition. (vending machine = Shizuo. Stabbing chopsticks into tables = Walker)

That's it. No more slacking off doing tutorials. No more outings unless I can spare the minutes. No more karaoke sessions until after the semester. It's payback time in the upcoming project-and-lab-heavy semester next week. I swear, I'm going to bring my GPA up to 4.5 next semester if I must. Meaning, I must get no lower than A- or B+. Because, I am royally pissed. I'm going to throw vending machines, make porcupines out of tables, mutilate the corpses, dead or undead, and borrow Nanoha's Starlight Breaker to blow up this world.

If the Dai Maou-sama is anything like the one in Beelzebub (really, mahjong?!) humanity will be safe for several millenia or so...

Anyway, I was reading Kimi ga Uso o Tsuita, and it made me think: If I were given the opportunity to tell whether the person is lying or not, is it a good thing? Especially if you can see yourself lying too. Whoa.

I gotta find one day to marathon Kimi ni Todoke manga. I heard the "aww..." factor is very strong. And I like such things. It's the little things that get to me...

Brotherly love is just so heartwarming. I'd do the same if I have a Doitsu - ruffle his hair. I never liked Hetalia!Spain much. I'll accept him for BFT only, but other than that, I can't say he's my favourite character.

30 Years War. I had to read each story with a hardened heart, especially Sunlight Burning. Poor Denmark. Yet I have to agree - Denmark and Sweden understand each other better than they would have liked. Which is why I really like this pair a lot. DenSu or SuDen (SweDen, lol XDDD), doesn't matter. Yumacchi is scary

I picked up Durarara from where I left off, just so that I can get screenshots of Walker's costume. I like Shizuo better than Izaya, I like CeltyXShinra, I like Dotachin gang. My favourite dude is still Walker because he's freaking scary. Scarier than manipulative Izaya I must say. But it's kinda funny when Walker is a freaking otaku who wants his own harem, and I like my reverse harem games/anime/manga but doesn't want one for herself. How to choose a partner you tell me, if I do have a reverse harem for myself? Though it's probably clear cut that I'll never pick a shota or flirt. (I can't say the same about Wand of Fortune because Est is really tsundere)

I think I shall pick up The Legend of Koizumi (ムダヅモ無き改革; Mudadumo Naki Kaikaku) from where I left off. I mean, if Russia-san wants a Hetalia mahjong photoshoot (at Cosfest chalet, LOL) I'll have to be part of it. It's a hilarious manga about the world leaders playing mahjong, even those who are dead and gone. Hehe, I will gladly comply if it's Hetalia parody. Anything to be original and the first to do it. I will represent Germany since my otoutou isn't around, and I shall be Wagner XDD Totally wtf...........

Himekawa is a freaking bishie without his dark specs and Elvis hairstyle! ZOMG I like him slightly better now, haha XD My favourite dudes should be Athrun, Sakaki (I like how he goes "Moe~" at Aoi. So cute, haha) and maybe that megane dude. Wassisname...ah, Izuma (he looks like evil Tezuka, shyeeeeeeeeeet). Holy - he's a demon descendent! LOL I like the headmaster already for accepting demon descendents into his school.

Kunieda Aoi is cool, I admit. She kicks ass. I'll prefer Sakaoi (SakakixAoi) to other pairings. Oga shouldn't be paired with anyone - he's too solitary.

Oh, so the anime I watched was a jump special, no wonder the episode looked weird. But it's funny all the same, haha. I need the humour, and Beelzebub has it.

HOLY F- I think I'll start laughing if I sing this during karaoke, coz I'm game enough to learn the dance just for the heck of it XD And I'm actually tempted to sing Dance Central songs so that I can dance along. I'm no dancer, but I like working out through dancing. Until now my biceps still feel hard.

Waste of time

If I get into the main committee, I will reorganise the whole chalet thing for next year. Seriously, it's freaking boring. Remind me why I choose not to stay overnight at chalets and only go for the barbecue? I mean, what's the point of a chalet if there's a lan shop, a console/kinect group, and the PSP group all doing their own things and not interacting with each other. We can do that during meetings, and even our meetings had more interaction than this.

Tell that to the planning committee which is largely made up of guys. Silk and I are the only girls. This is too guy-oriented. Much as I've lack of femininity myself, I think I had more fun at my JC chalets and family chalets than this. I bet last year's VAS chalet was more fun too because of the interaction. The horror game on the first night. Munchkins. Tell me, they want to change this year's activities, but they're still lazing around inside the chalet for most of the day.

People tell me I'm a natural leader, and task-oriented, and doesn't have people skills. I have nothing to say. I don't even wish to comment.

Yes I AM pissed. I'd rather face my mother's wrath than go through this torture. Redang was way more fun. No laptops, no PSP, lots of interaction. (I think I can somewhat understand Yanru's feelings. Freaking boring.)

I shall try to look forward to Cosfest 2011's chalet then. We'll be busy doing last minute stuff, but at least we'll be DOING SOMETHING that may be tiring but fun. I probably don't even have the hands to bring my laptop along unless they request because I stay the shortest distance to the chalets in Pasir Ris/Downtown East. Might need it for research.

You know, I've half my mind to leave for home on Saturday morning, then go to my piano lesson without worries. I definitely need to sleep early tomorrow night. I'm feeling sleepy now because I slept at 4.35am this morning, woke up at 8.10am. And since they don't appear to be having their night walk (despite all that planning we did), I shall go to bed after this.

Found a new manga: Oiran Girl (courtesan girl)

I like how spunky the heroine is, and the gender bend wasn't unexpected. But still, Tsubaki is cool. XD I'm gunning for ShinXTsubaki already. I don't think a courtesan is a prostitute. It's different. Selling smiles is different from selling sex. Totally different meaning here.

Oiran are entertainers and entertain only those of status, with formal invitation. Geisha don't - they entertain the more casual. Wow, this history is awesome.

*coughs* *splutters* ZOMG, this manga rocks I swear. When the yaoi shunga picture appeared in the manga, I was laughing. Right, this shows that fujoushi dated way back into the last millennium. Edo period, with homosexuals. Gott. *facepalm* Oh well, I learnt new terms, like kagema (male prostitute in late Edo).

They.have.Mai.Kaze.

I was almost hyperventilating, and then I screwed the song because I was laughing at their comments. It's original PV, and they said it's like Yoshioka Aika singing (coz her lips were moving). Gomen, the rap part wasn't perfect yet. I was half reading the romaji from my laptop and half reading the kanji lyrics on screen.

The song I want to learn, but not sing for karaoke (not possible. Vocaloid songs aren't included), is Yume, tokidoki...So high~ LOL I hope I can hit, but yeah, songs with crazily high parts should be tackled first before the voice breaks down after belting out 5 songs. I was still a little piqued about Saikou no Kataomoi, though Lacrimosa was slightly better than the previous times I sang the song.

I sang Byakuya~True Light at speed x7. Of course I can catch up - I'd already learnt the song by heart. Now to learn Mai Kaze by heart too. ^^

I'm gonna sleep. Tired, and sleepy, and I want to wake up early tomorrow.

土萌　羊 Tomoe Yoh
Yoh represents the Capricorn. His French name is Henri Samuel Jean Aimée. Likewise, he is half-French and was often teased for that as a kid. He met Tsukiko when he was young, and because she was the only person who didn't make fun of him for being half-French, he fell in love with her and asked his father to let him transfer to Seigatsu Academy in order to pursue her. Initially disdainful to everyone except Tsukiko, eventually, he learns the importance of having friends. His father hopes to work in America to develop a special astronomy project. He is a second year and is voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa.

七海　哉太 Nanami Kanata
Kanata represents the Pisces. Brash and impulsive, he has been friends with Tsukiko since childhood and has developed feelings for her. He does not get along very well with Yoh. Kanata suffers from a terminal illness that leaves him in a lethargic state, which is why he often skips classes and faints without reason. However, he refuses to seek medical help and often gets into school fights that worsen his health to protect Tsukiko. He is a second year and is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita.

東月　錫也 Tōzuki Suzuya
Suzuya represents the Cancer. Calm and friendly, he was friends with Tsukiko and Kanata since childhood and often watches out for them like an older brother. He is very good at cooking and often uses the school's kitchen to prepare food for his friends. Suzuya is also in love with Tsukiko, but because he knows that Kanata also loves her, he held back. Beneath his warm exterior, Suzuya has a dark side and worries about Tsukiko constantly. He is a second year and is voiced by Daisuke Ono.

Summer

金久保　誉 Kanakubo Homare
Homare represents the Taurus. He is the captain of the archery club. He is openly friendly and often settles arguments between Ryunosuke and Azusa, but is prone to feel pressured for the success of the archery club. He is a third year and is voiced by Soichiro Hoshi.

宮地　龍之介 Miyaji Ryunosuke
Ryunosuke represents the Scorpio. He is the sub-captain of the archery club. He appears to be serious and calm, but hides a penchant for sweets. Ryunosuke has kept an eye out for Tsukiko ever since he first saw her. He is a second year and is voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya.

木ノ瀬　梓 Kinose Azusa
Azusa represents the Sagittarius. Although he is a newcomer to the archery club, he has met Tsukiko before and inspired her to become better at it. He is cocky and confident of himself; while he declares himself as a natural genius, he is in fact insecure of his abilities as he can't put his heart into anything. Azusa often flirts with Tsukiko and his actions annoy Ryunosuke a lot. He is a first year and is voiced by Jun Fukuyama.

Autumn

水嶋　郁 Mizushima Iku
Iku represents the Gemini. He is currently a student teacher and is friends with the school nurse, Kotarou, since they were children. Iku and his twin sister Yui were both born with poor health, and Yui died while they were in high school. He was formerly the lead singer of a band the heroine liked, but destroyed his voice while overworking himself due to the pain of his sister's death. His band members turned out to be using him for money and promptly dismissed him when he could no longer sing. Iku lost trust in everyone until Tsukiko helped him gain it back. He is voiced by Kouji Yusa.

陽日　直獅 Haruki Naoshi
Naoshi represents the Leo. He is Tsukiko's homeroom teacher and the advisor for the archery club. He is energetic and enjoys the "youth" part of high school since he spent high school mostly studying, and because of that, a lot of students can't take him seriously and often play pranks on him. Naoshi's best friend, Hiroki, got him to enjoy high school, but Hiroki was hit by a car saving the girl he liked. He is voiced by Daisuke Kishio.

星月　琥太郎 Hoshizuki Kotarou
Kotarou represents the Libra. He is the school nurse who had ambitions to become a doctor. Iku's sister, Yui, had feelings for him, but after her death Kotarou blamed himself for not being able to save her. His father is the chairman of the academy, but after his father's retirement, the position was given to Kotarou's sister, Koharu. However, he ended up obtaining the position due to Koharu's wish to work overseas. He is voiced by Akira Ishida.

Winter

天羽　翼 Amaha Tsubasa
Tsubasa represents the Aquarius. He is an officer of the student council. He often lights up the mood in the student council. However, he is emotionally unstable. At a very young age he was abandoned by his parents who got divorced. He was taken in by his grandparents on his mother's side. When Tsubasa was young, he spent a lot of time with his grandfather and they often made inventions together. Even now, Tsubasa still likes to invent things. His grandfather's dying wish made Tsubasa promise to take care of his grandmother. His grandmother sent Tsubasa away to school, and ever since Tsubasa likes to be alone. He thinks that being alone is better than being with people because he is afraid of losing things that are important to him. He is a first year and is voiced by Kenichi Suzumura.

不知火　一樹 Shiranui Kazuki
Kazuki represents the Aries. He is the president of the student council. He is a third year and is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura.

青空　颯斗 Aozora Hayato
Hayato represents the Virgo. He is the vice president of the student council. He is a second year and is voiced by Daisuke Hirakawa.

I like how cool Finland is, armed with an assault rifle and barging into Russia's house to borrow General Winter (M95, gods XD). Heh, if I think in terms of L4D2 play, I actually prefer sniping than using an AK. Rifle would be Switzerland, I suppose. Sniper is Finland. Axe is Denmark and Spain. Katana is Japan. Frying pan is Hungary. And when I don't use a katana, I usually go for the axe or frying pan.

Nordics overload

I wonder if I can pull off a maniacal, soaked in blood look. Coz I'm watching Sound Horizon live videos - Ark and Sacrifice are scary in some ways - and then I started wondering. Well, I probably can't, not with my face; all I can do is pull off an expression that spells impending doom. I think it's even scarier if your face is calm, you're smiling calmly, and yet the aura you emit is chilling to the bones.

I need more humour in my life. Seriously. As if it wasn't enough. But yeah, hard to find good humour fics that will make me laugh out loud. My sense of humour usually goes with sarcasm and torturing others (ie mischief, not physical torture of the medieval era or anything remotely sadistic and/or masochistic, in the physical sense), but I still like good old jibes at each other, and observing people's reactions. I used to do that a lot.

I need to rewatch Durarara. WALKER~ Gillian wants to be Erika, and I think she can be crazy enough to be her (though not fujoushi enough, lol. Silk will make a better Erika, personality-wise XDD)

New Year eve 2010

Last day of 2010, and I thought I'll sit at home and slack. Nope, didn't go to the Kuroshitsuji photoshoot today because I was tired, I desperately needed to practise my pieces, and I had things I wanted to do first, one of which is music-related, another that is Nekotalia-related. And I had a premonition yesterday that I would need to be home some time...

I believe this Prussia here is way too calm in real life. Yesterday, at Sonia's house, we were practically roleplaying Hetalia. Well, except that I was really calm and giving that "what the heck is going on?" look. Okay, my reaction was more APH!Swedish and/or APH!Egyptian (lol, I would certainly cosplay Sweden instead of Denmark if only I had more buff to me. Character like Sweden and Denmark, lol. DENSU!!! XDDD)

But yeah, I certainly can piss off Hungary and Austria in my own way (*munches on cookie* "Which way is the Hungarian flag?" XDD I KNOW, just being my deviously neutral self, ahaha~ Yeah, I ate Prussia, Austria and Hungary cookies. First kill again ^^)
