Sayonara Piano Sonata

Only in manga, can someone play Chopin's Revolutionary Etude on electric guitar and make it astounding, or according to the hero in the manga. But I seriously think that girl Ebisawa Mafuyu has an attitude problem, or is that how music prodigies (and typical tsunderes) behave? I really wanted to smack her for her self-centered, the-world-revolves-around-me attitude, even though the story looks interesting.

I'd prefer Nodame Cantabile or La Corda d'Oro, haha. And speaking of which, I NEED to pick up La Corda d'Oro manga...75 chapters altogether....and I still like Ousaki-senpai :3 I like Tsukimori yes, because he's cool, but Ousaki-senpai is talented XDD

...I just read the last chapter. And it was.....TsukimoriXKahoko of course. *grins* Nah, that's not what I wanted to say. I was happy when they didn't kiss, kinda spoils the mood IMO. Okay, some manga, if the characters kiss, I'm fine with it. But for manga like this, where Tsukimori isn't that affectionate type, it'll be very out of character. Had they kissed, I'd be let down. Not all shoujo romance manga HAVE to end up with a kiss. No way, it'll be damn cliche.

The sad thing about turning reverse harem games into manga is, the main guy who's always in front somehow, ends up with the heroine. Can't we have one manga with multiple endings? After all, it's reverse harem. The other guys are there because, well, you get to play their routes. Then again, I think the editors don't want multiple endings. Too open-ended. However, if you give me a RH story to write, I'll gladly give multiple endings for the heroine if the story follows a general plotline.

Studying 184... felt like some self-improvement course rather than HRM...=.= I'm studying to be a good manager and leader, fantastic. Now, I shall lead the team to greater heights with my awesome HRM skills! There is no room for slackers or free-loaders. We move forward as a team. We are self-directed, each equipped with the necessary skills that is beneficial to the team and to the organisation. *goes on like some propaganda*

The more I think about it, the more I feel that self-directed teams are like the elites of some organization. Like the Varia. Or special forces. Then I'll be very amused, reading my notes and remembering them as I craft a nice story or fanfic in my head.

Versailles, Kagrra

I blame Gillian for getting me interested in Versailles. And the first song I heard, was Serenade. After their bassist died in Aug 9 2009. It was really sad. I always feel resonance with August events, partly because I'm an August baby.

Classical rock, pop. Anything that involves a classical or oriental touch, I jump onto the band wagon immediately. Look at how hooked I was to Sakurane and Tsugai Kogarashi.

I may check out Kagrra and Versailles, wait for me after my exams. I'll painstakingly get ALL their albums and mini-albums and singles. Doesn't help that classical rock and oriental rock are one of my favourite music genres. I'll listen to any music that has a mishmash of classical/oriental AND band. It just shows how well traditional mixes with modern =D

Which reminds me, I haven't started listening to Sound Horizon yet even though I believe I have all their albums. Maybe I'll listen to them to get me through the exams =) Yes, I AM enjoying myself this semester.

I hear good reviews about Ao no Exorcist, especially the action and the soundtrack. OSTs prick my ears - I'll definitely get them. And Deadman Wonderland's blood and gore appeals too - I remember I was taken by Ganta's sad plight in the beginning of the series.

Amnesia

New otome game! With four pretty guys, and pretty (irritating) costumes, I present to you, Amnesia. No, not that survival horror game; the OTOME game Amnesia yet to be released =D

Shin, Ikki, Kent, Toma. I like and want to cos Shin, but Gillian says Ikki, and Lizzy says Kent. Hmm, I cannot pull off Kent, I may be able to pull off Toma and Shin, I'm no flirt like Ikki even though he's as sexy as Alvaro from Wand of Fortune and probably S. But apparently I'm the only one who can pull them off because I'm tall and skinny. T______T I want a team for them too, at least for photoshoot.

I think...I just want to start cosplaying otome games because the character designs are so pretty. And making the costumes is gonna cost me a bomb =.= But, because most of them are bishounen, I can pull them off. I can't pull off the ikemen, of course, because they have more bulk, but I can pull off bishounen WITHOUT looking like an uke either. (I as Hibari top the other Vongola gaurdians, so yes it depends on the characters I do. No matter who, my personality will ensure that the character is the seme. As the Singaporean phrase goes, chop plus guarantee. It means, confirmed on paper with a stamp, thus making it legally true)

Shima Renzou

First time I created a cosplay team, though I'm not cosplaying the main character. Haha, I'm okay with it, though Renzou's character might take some time getting used to (coz he's a total opposite of me. Not that I like bugs too, but hell, I come across as the easy-going-yet-powerful type, or the you're-not-worth-my-time type. Though I'm laughing - some characters I do seems to be like I'm "surpressing my hidden prowess" XDD)

It'll be hard to try and get Renzou's image right, with a mere translated 23 chapters, but I hope I manage to grasp him by STGCC. Hmm, my costume will be less troublesome, though I'll need to know how to make his staff. I will need to get headphones too ^^ (yes it was on the manga cover, and very pretty headphones too I must say XD) That's probably the only thing I like - that I can actually listen to music even when I cosplay, haha. Keeps me from being bored too XDD

I'd prefer doing Kenzou, but well we gotta fill up the exwires first right? At least I'm Rin's friend =D

STGCC 2011

STGCC. On 20 and 21 August. That means no 21st birthday party for me, and I'll be celebrating my birthday in cosplay ^^ They suggest Pandora Hearts, since it's the first VAS outing to include the new members. I approve =) It'll be cool to celebrate with VAS, though I'm sad I can't really invite my JC friends unless they want to visit me at Suntec City and take pictures together, haha. I mean, I will also reschedule my piano lessons so that I can go STGCC and celebrate my birthday instead of working...unless day 1 I attend lessons in sailor Norway...?

I swear, when I get the chance to go to Japan with VAS members, I'll get my DenSu and Hakuouki doujins, and find a place to stuff them at home. Heh. This Norway supports DenSu, because he finds their relationship amusing.

I didn't do that well for my Astro quiz, not that I was very bothered by it. I was busy worrying about my reports, so whatever I studied, some went in, some didn't (but wth, I could have scored higher had I not changed some of my answers. Tch). Well, all I have to do is do better for exams. I mean, I never do well in tests anyway. Look what happened to my Linguistics quizzes; I didn't do well, and I still scored A for the final exam. I'm not concerned about getting A+ for Astronomy, even though it might look nice on my report. All I want is my 5.0 points, tyvm.

For now, all I want to do is finish up 205 lab report (I need to get my code running properly first, help?), 207 documentation, study for 206 test, prepare for 184 and 210 presentations. All due next week. Then I can relax at last, and concentrate on studying for exams.

Listening to Marasy's piano albums...because he's good. His technique is good, though musical expression-wise I've listened to better pianists. (nope, doesn't include classical musicians. That goes without saying)

Reason why I used the word "listened to" rather than "heard" is because listening means you're actually paying attention. Hearing is just something that goes into your ear. You may or may not dismiss it as unimportant.

I don't know, as time passes, we change. I was colder, quieter, more anti-social back then. Now, people say something is wrong with me when I'm quiet and ignoring everyone. Nothing's wrong. Just don't break my train of thought.

But I'm still not a people-person. I've no charisma that draws people. I can only make people not hate me, and yet bring out the bad side to their personality, both directly and indirectly. Most of the time, I'm made the bad guy, even if I wasn't the mastermind. Anything that makes them unhappy, I'm to blame. But if things are taken too far, I of course will take action. No way will I stand being made the scapegoat.

I'm hungry, I'm studying B+ trees, I'm listening to Marasy's Touhou music (because I don't want to loop Shiki and Sakurane and go :3 when I'll probably survive, all but barely, that torturous half hour group/individual interview).

Ignoring the rating, this fic is actually funny: Questionable Postage I'm quite tempted to write something like that as a form of amusement, without the implications of course. Just pure humour and friendship and all that dysfunctional nonsense. XD I mean, it so applies to VAS for instance, since we're a crazy bunch whenever we hang out as a club. As rowdy as those sports clubs, I must say. *whistles innocently*

battle royale dream

I had a weird dream. It involved VAS, many random people and a game of life and death that stemmed from ridiculous event, a battle royale of sorts that involved fighting.

We were queuing up to pay for something, but the girls didn't have enough cash and it was almost our turn. So some of us ran off to get the boys who were waiting somewhere far far away, leaving me alone to wait at the queue. However, when they came back, the irritating cashier told us to go to the back of the queue because he somehow "skipped our turn". Don't ask me what happened, bastard skipped dream!me over

The queue snaked a winding river. Confused, we just stood there...then someone announced "Those not in the queue, you are participants in the battlezone. Please go left, NOW."

A game of life and death. Somehow, we knew it, this sense of foreboding that we might never live to see the next sunrise...

The arena turned out to be a shopping mall cross marble Greek temple (don't ask. Think Inception worlds). As we trudged in, we saw Shaun among us, to our horror. We tried persuading him to get out, this is a matter of life and death, you shouldn't be here, we need members in VAS, but he stubbornly refused. Left with no choice, each of us took a position. For some reason, I could see which were the danger spots, which were the safety zones, because somehow I knew the arena would hold booby traps and all. I can't remember if we have powers though, maybe not.

I found my safety zone which I won't say here. Suddenly I sensed, and saw a huge, muscular dude just beside the marble pillar where I was hiding, just before the arena began and I woke up.

...

Had I continued the dream, I might turn it into some catastrophic VAS event no one would ever suspect. It had some DMWxFoR theme without the superpowers, just plenty of resourceful tactics and manipulation. XDD Though dream!me is a cold, calm, no-nonsense person when situations call for it.

If I'm doing Norway, and this Norway has a soft spot for DenSu....

Now that will be...er...interesting. Norway and Iceland's "Just in Time for World Peace", starting from our own family.

Yes DenSu is my Hetalia OTP. Psychotic Denmark and Sweden will be scary as hell. Even though Denmark is now easily bullied by Norge, Aisu and ignored by Sve, you have to remember he was the King of Northern Europe last time. Meaning, he is scary, maybe worse than Russia who is currently the scariest? Well, besides Belarus's obsession with Russia, and Ukraine who isn't as smiley as we thought.

Someone commented that "Keita's vocals sounded different without Chiba's and Ryuichi's backup", but I'm fine with it because it makes singing Keita's part easier, especially if you plan to sing this song solo during karaoke...XDD One thing a human voice can't do, no matter how flexible it is, is singing chords. Sad. If we can sing chords, I could tackle all those backup vocals and harmonizing myself XDD

I cannot afford to get anything lower than a B+ for any subjects this semester....otherwise I have to wait till next year to pull up my grades to a second lower...unless I can produce a fantastic report for IA...

One by one the projects are wrapping up, except for CIDP. That, we'll wait after the exams. I'll do my best to work on it, otherwise forget it. I'm sleepy and tired, my stamina with regards to staying up late isn't very good because I always don't get enough sleep the next day (max until 4am, and that was my first time - when I was playing L4D2 with Chronorec, Dee and Rii.......), and I want to prepare myself for the exams.

I had to listen to my mp3 during lecture to keep myself awake...maybe I should employ that next time...works you know. Or maybe because my intelligence is music.

I swear to transcribe Tsugai Kogarashi, Wa Wa World Ondo piano, and Sakurane's accompaniment after my exams. My Hakuouki and Hetalia medleys will have to be put on hold, because I'm more interested in getting the three songs done =D If successful, Wa Wa World Ondo piano might be my first post to Hetalia LJ, though I might need help getting it onto a proper score.

Back to trying to get OpenID to work...it's so much tougher than Facebook, and no, Facebook doesn't work properly for me either.

Don't mind me if I'm a lot less talkative. I'm being in a serious, don't disturb my train of thought. Don't talk to me unless you're discussing either lab, coding or anything related to project work. Typing is fine, but I'm not going to speak, and my answers are going to be very short, to the point of monosyllable. I'm worried about my trigger, and my login, and my astronomy test coming up on Wednesday. Forget about the lab interview - I'll be happy if I can get my part working nicely by Wednesday.

I'll worry about 205 lab report on Friday. Date of submission is two weeks from today. Right now, I'm multitasking like nobody's business.

Okay, back to work, and studying for my Astronomy test. I'll test my brain power on Tuesday and Wednesday (almost forgot I have no 207 lab this coming Wednesday, so 2 hours to quiz myself! The CA is supposed to be one hour only, meh.)

Sorry if I scared everyone and made you worry. I'm fine now.

I had a mini-seizure when my muscles suddenly spasmed and my mind went into a sub-conscious state. I couldn't control the trembling. I was vaguely aware of tears flowing down my unblinking eyes.

Might be the stress, the heat, dehydration, and the fact that I carried those metal table stands from South Spine to NY House because the bus driver refused to let us up the bus, in case we blocked people or something. It wasn't very heavy, just bulky and made a hell lot of noise. After that, if any arse complains about the weight and distance and the weather, I'll just tell them to shut up; I'm skinnier and lighter than you, I walked from one end of the school to another carrying 2-5kg worth of bulky items, the weather was unforgiving, and I'm a girl. It's nothing sexist unless you taunt me for being a pansy, then your head will be on the platter. Biologically speaking, males are physically stronger than females.

Sailor Iceland and Norway! I want to get my wigs for Walker and Norway soon, and my contact lenses (IMPORTANT*****). Currently I have Prussia, Norway, Walker, Tsugai!Kaito, Xerxes on my list (for this year and next year. Might add Synchronicity!warrior!Kaito to the list, though it's tentative. I want Ao no Exorcist though...)

I'm a fan of butsudankamen (仏壇仮面) and doa@rat, but now I can add yakkun (ヤッくん) to the list. He's so cute! I mean, that dorky smile on his face, is really cute. And I'm not responsible for the girls (ie Peish, Sakia, Feimao) fighting over him XDD Probably not, but still, he's darn cute :3 I like him, but butsudankamen's my favourite. I'm biased already, haha. He's responsible for making me want to learn Bad Apple, Tsugai Kogarashi, and now adding Just Be Friends. No, wait, I had expressed some interest in Just Be Friends because the choreography was awesome shitz, but yakkun made me WANT to learn the dance, simply because he made it look fun and less challenging than the O_O that we first experienced, considering how he improvised some parts of the song.
