Things taking a downturn........

And because I reached home at 12.45am, I've been imposed a curfew. I can understand why - because I'm working the next day - but I wonder if it extends to Fridays and Saturdays. Not that I have anything on; I'm probably not going on anymore outings unless I'm sure I have the moolah, and only if Gillian and Peishan are going. I'm broke, and broken.

Yeah, broken. I'm not whole anymore. Still trying to find and gather the broken pieces.

And going wtf at the email the big 4 sent informing me that I'm now nominated as the other AniW VC, together with Kei. I'm like "WTF O_o" when I read the mail content - must be Dee, though Silk said bro didn't help much in that area either. Probably the reaction they're expecting, meh.

I aim to be a good leader that people will acknowledge. A no-nonsense one will be good too. And Peishan and I will help our chair make decisions if she can't do it herself. The only decision we can't really make usually deals with food, unless someone has a particular craving or aversion, haha.

vocaloid casual

I can't believe my first vocaloid casual shoot is Kiyoteru. I like his megane appearance, and "he cannot produce a satisfactory low masculine vocal tone" is so blardy appropriate. Unless someone has a white wig I can borrow for Piko, since I can hit these two voice ranges. I'm more interested in the singing part than cosplaying, haha. Man, I should just learn how to apply makeup for guys....><

If talking about the more popular vocaloids, I'd pick Kaito. But my past self is calling dibs on him for the casual shoot....hmm, wonder if I can borrow the wig for Camellia Kaito is she has it? Unless they found a Kaito already, haha XD But if there is a Synchronicity team I'm calling dibs on Kaito, or more specifically, warriorKaito. I'll drown in Arabian.

Karaoke was fun, but I felt drained. I sung some Shikata Akiko songs, but yeah, they were hard. The only few I could pull off were Katayoku no Tori and Amnesia. For Kalafina, I only sang Lacrimosa, Kagayaku and Magia. It felt different without my partner aka Gillian. Not be be biased or anything, but we usually sang Kalafina together, haha. And probably Shikata Akiko now. =D

But surprisingly, I felt my best and most soulful song was actually A Better Tomorrow by CHEMISTRY. I thought it was in Korean until the kanji appeared, so I kinda switched from Korean to Japanese. I don't think anyone has ever heard me sing a song so powerfully. Well, it's a ballad, something I can pull off...I think. I don't know. I'm still trying to expand my vocal repertoire to include rock, pop and rap...if my voice can reach low. Currently it's still within neoclassical and ballads.

Yeah, I was the only one singing all the songs with high pitch. And they said my Ark sounded like Miku singing. WTF where did that come from I don't even. But I will learn that song for sure....I kinda forgot about the creepy laugh in the song though, lol.

Need to break out from those character stereotypes.

I can do easy-going and laid back, tsun, cold and indifferent, sadistic, hot-tempered and fiesty, calm. Despite what I'm usually thrown, I can't do playboy-types. Yet I'm associated with them simply because I can look the part.

Meh. And they suggest I do Dark if we ever have a DN Angel team. When will I break out from this stereotype I wonder...I don't mind either Dark or Krad, depending on who we can find. I like both anyway.

I didn't even know I'm that popular until Cheshire's appearance caught their attention. And now Chessie and Yukio have their fanclubs =.= Oh well........

a celebration to remember

STGCC was tiring but fun. First time we had many walls of photographers. Maybe because we were the first Ao team to appear. That, itself, is a novelty that I'm proud of. ^^ Of course, I formed the team way before the anime came out XDD And we even had a lone Mephisto who just joined us for the whole day, haha. Thank you, Pheles-sensei =D

All we need now is a Konekomaru. No wait, if we can get Pheles-sensei to really join the team for real, we'll have an Igor. Now THAT is what I call awesome shitz. We have a Fujimoto who'll only be available at photoshoot (I hope).

I love this team. I really do. Thank you, everyone, for making my 21st birthday so memorable. No party is needed - just your presence is sufficient. Thank you, photographers, for adhering to my requests for air guitar, boyband and jumpshots. Those were fun =D I couldn't do my jump air guitar because of the lighting, but that can be done at photoshoots 8D Thank you, friends and family, for entering my life.

Natsumatsuri 2011

Natsu matsuri's bon odori was the most fun. Same songs, same dances, but still as fun. As usual, I didn't eat a lot =.= Though there were lesser VAS people because of STGCC...haha.

I will take pictures with everyone I see. I don't care - I will create a birthday album. =)

I will treasure the gifts very deeply. Especially the watch, the headphones, and the touchpad. OMG the touchpad was a surprise from dad. I didn't know he was getting one for me. The official otomate blog was awesome. Artists from other projects contributed an art for each character. It was really cool. Ikki was drawn by WOF's artist. Toma, by the producer of Hana Oni. Ukyo and Waka were hot, the former in the dark smouldering way (no idea how to describe that tortured expression), the latter in the, well, smouldering hot way.

I can see why there are people who like the bad boys. Hey, the good boys are hot too ^^ It's the package. There's a reason why harems and reverse harems exist - to cater to fans with different tastes. But truthfully, it's as if the poor girl who is the center of attention doesn't have a specific taste =.=

Oh well. I shall enjoy today, tomorrow and Sunday. It will be the best birthday celebration ever, consisting of three days of activity ^^

Unfortunately, I'm in a sour mood. My project task had just gotten....more complicated. The sheer amount of weight even affected my interview yesterday.

Truthfully, I didn't care whether I would pass the subcom interview and move on to the next round. My IA's affecting me quite badly, so badly I couldn't think straight and I bet I blew it. I never thought I would try running for main com until I realised there are few parties interested in running, and some can't do it. All I want is to look forward to every VAS meeting even after the senpai graduate.

Currently I'm dealing with an irritating bastard someone who gives vague answers to my queries. Hey, hey, I know word games when I see one. I know what to do to get the answers I want too. I know how to deal with people like him - my own students, my own friends are perfect examples. They can twist words, they can avoid answering the question directly. I read novels too, where the sidhe who can't lie choose to give evasive answers.

I know. I'm tsun, but I'm not stupid.

I haven't been around VAS to not learn how to manipulate stuff to get what I want. Like we said, VAS opens one's eyes to the real world. But I love AniW just the same ^^

Busy week

This week is packed. I've something on today, Wednesday and Friday. Then of course Saturday and Sunday. I am eternally grateful to Venessa for helping me make my k'rik because I've simply no time *stares reproachfully at IA* If I hadn't paused my piano lessons for this period of IA, my Saturdays will be gone. I'll treasure it like nobody's business, and also help her keep her dakimakura in good condition. Funny how I'll be carrying it around on STGCC, meh >.> OVER my shoulder, like a sack of potatoes.

Today's shoot was fun. I didn't do any NSFW ones because I was Chesha neko, and he needs a partner. So I was safe, haha. XD Truthfully, had I gotten my solo shoot on that day, I would have gone as some casual danshi today. Or violinist - when I tied my hair up, I looked like a musician from Mozart's era. All I needed was a violin and scores.

Some other time I guess, if we have one haha. Unlikely though, but it's an option XDD So much easier to express too.

(I didn't do the superhero one because I only want VAS peeps on the sidebar, not my other friends, and the love interest thing is so stupid I OTLed) But at least I get to lend a hand in killing Hatter, who is feimao's victim. =3 Partners in crime indeed, and sadistic ones at that. She has her hammer. I have my torture weapons (I'm sorry, against Amorn and Yu, who are in shinkendo, and Amorn learnt martial arts before, I won't be able to do much in a mortal combat showdown. We make that up with our scary personalities.)

I tried watching Blood C and Sacred Seven. I think....I'll love to put Sacred Seven on hold. The only thing I like was the OP song and maybe Arma's costume in his Light Stone mode. Two more tentative cosplay plans, perhaps for 2013 or 2014 if PanHearts doesn't come first. I'm prepared to spend a lot on it.

1) Loveless Zero - Youji. Must be because they saw Cheshire. But, long hair...

2) DN Angel - either Dark or Krad, depending on who we find for our team. I'm leaning towards Dark because his clothes are nicer, I like his hairstyle, and I could reuse them for any punk image, but cosing him means I'll be seeing parallel versions of the characters I do. Hello, suave, sexy, bishie playboy =.= Krad's costume will be more expensive unless I can operate the sewing machine. But because they say I look pretty in long hair. If I get Krad, I hope I can project a psychotically dangerous, lethal beauty that is him.

Cosplaying DN Angel will be a wish come true. It's old, but I love that manga, still do, in fact. The art is so pretty. Come to think of it, it was probably my first reverse harem stereotype - cute, cool, pretty, sexy ^^;

Now I pray for successful coding and conversion. It seems trivial, but I do appreciate the mini successes programming gives me. When a code runs nicely, the sense of achievement is fulfilling and relieving, more than scoring A for modules. That is trivial - dude, am I even applying what I've learnt in school? Some, yes, but hell, I'm forced to pick up a new program and learn new languages on my own. If I don't come out stronger the next semester, I doubt I'll live it down.

Okay, so now my piano's on temporary hiatus. Time for me to learn some modern sheet music. I don't know if I want to terminate lessons, because it's damn irritating when my Saturdays are gone unless my piano lesson is some time in the morning or before 1pm, but I do want to learn how to teach the higher grades. Carine will be taking on Grade 4 practical, and I want her to get a merit (mainly to boost her confidence in playing rather than show people I'm not a failure).
