Well, I like the Marauders. And I prefer James to Harry. Though I must say, had Harry lived his school life in a different environment, he probably won't be such an emo kid. I liked him before he turned 15, that's all.

I think, when Pettigrew died, it felt as if the Marauders were finally reunited in the world beyond. The part where Snape loved Lily, I suppose that's why my Snape-worshipping friends hated James even more, especially knowing how James also bullied Snape back then. Me, I don't really care what pairings there are in HP, as long as they seem to work fine. You never know, some fanfic might make the pairing work. I like the first gen (Marauders) better than the second gen (Harry), though the third gen seems rather cute haha. I've always preferred the older generation better than the current one, simply because they're lesser known.

Achievement unlocked the last karaoke session - Trust Me +7. I even pulled off the rap. Well, it makes me want to learn rapping so that I can build up my stamina and my voice.

I realise no one sings Jpop of the dance pop genre. I think I'll try, with Matsushita Yuya and w-inds. Well, I can sing Trust Me, so why not try other songs like Super Drive? I like to widen my genre, even though I'm associated with Shikata Akiko, Kalafina, FictionJunction.

But no more karaoke - I need to start on my report and my props.

Baka to Test s2 episode 12 is one of the most entertaining, pertaining to the Halloween theme. Of course, Hideyoshi HAD to get the nekomimi. It's Hideyoshi, ultimate trap of the century in the history of anime.

Saturday was a day where everything spiralled down unexpectedly after the karaoke event. It was a very bad day. What happened to me, the only one who knows was Kengyi (because he happened to be on skype, and at that time I probably needed to tell someone before my mental self took a severe downturn for the worse). Ignoring the angry tears that somehow flowed, I realised I was stronger and tougher than I thought I'd be. Either that, or I'm plain stubborn and foolish.

But it turned out to be some false alarm and involved greed. Knowing that, we were incensed, but I was practically simmering with anger. That crone made me suffer for nothing, and it will pay through its nose.

Ukyo is scary in Toma's route, harmless in Shin's, weird in Ikki's, insane in Kent's, and utterly deranged in his own. He has such a multi-personality disorder that I want to hug him once, and smack him the next. I'm glad I made the choice to cos Ukyo though - severely deranged psycho vs playboy who can't control his fanclub and is so indecisive.

I'm hooked to Remote Control now. When I saw the dance, I knew that I want to learn it. It was a good workout because the movements were so sharp. I managed to remember part of the introduction, and a little more. Hopefully I can finish the basics by the next meeting, the unrefined version. And yes, Tsugai Kogarashi, I haven't forgotten you.

Youtube has many more nico dance videos popping up. I'll be on a rampage, searching for dances that I think can be mastered. Any difficulty below Bad Apple, according to Silk-kaichou. Well, I want Tsugai Kogarashi, that's for instance. And now I might have found other interesting dance videos to learn.

I should just download the whole bunch of them and save them in a folder on my laptop, at the same time create a list of dances plus my own rankings according to how manageable they are 1 for easy, 5 for tough. Bonus 6 for forget-it-I-won't-even-bother.

I'm interested in learning Remote Control. I also found a Magnet dance, which is so graceful I think Abinyan might be able to pull it off better. I've no wish to learn it too - can't pull off graceful for nuts. The only graceful thing are my fingers, only when I play the piano that is. Otherwise, I'm just as cultured as any yankee...XDD

Looking at Miss Universe 2011 national costumes. Compare this (2011) and this (2010). For 2011, I love Japan's costume and Denmark's. At least they look decent, not like birds of paradise. Though when I read the captions from one website, especially about Denmark's ("I really, really want to find a husband tonight" or something along the lines) I went "SVERIGE!!!!!!" >DDDDD

My first male OTP I acknowledge from all the series I know, DenSu/ SuDen. Even though tenipuri had so many pairings....well, I like Data Pair, I'd rather Tezuka have a harem than he being paired with one only, or he can be the only straight one while everyone else is gay for him (I'll love to see him reject them all ahaha). As for KHR, nothing else but TsunaXall, simply because of the comic relief and how he actually has that much power over them despite being the ultimate uke.

Apparently more people want me to cos Ikki - even Mandy offered to do my makeup for him. >< I want Ukyo because he's so psychotically scary in Toma's route, and I can portray psychos better than playboys, but a replacement Ikki please....at least for photoshoot if Cosfest is off limits. I can borrow the costume for Cosfest, and do Ukyo for photoshoot.

I've decided to be Yu's Kaito for EOY. There goes my money.............no more than $100 for that stupid costume please. I'll only tailor-make the white coat. Going to the tailor's this Saturday, to get quotes for all AMNESIA coats (with and without pattern) and this white coat. I'll leave Baka to Test for later.

Which reminds me, I haven't found a wig for sensei yet. Oh man....

Awesome shitz, I can now access fb from work! My colleagues were talking about it today, so yeah. Not that I've the time to really access in the day either, because I tend to pop in every now and then to clear notifications rather than do anything else. But at least I can establish my main form of communication in the day...until oyabun decides to ban it again.

Truthfully, I'm not addicted to fb. It is boring unless something happens. Last time, we were all so actively spamming a few particular threads. Those were the days. The news feed is okay, but now it's just pure spam. Most posts are nothing much worth discussing. I'd rather post them on my own wall than on the feed. But welcoming new members is something I'll do, haha. The longest welcome thread was Jason's, with 900++ worth of spam =D

New Fall 2011 anime...meh, nothing much caught my attention except Persona 4, some OVA and movies. Like wtf, Prince of Tennis movie that looks like Tenimyu. Summer at least had more, though I'll say I look forward to Winter and Spring anime more than anything else.

Heck, I want to get wigs for AMNESIA already. Trying to find Ukyo's wig....I managed to find Ikki's wig colour and length, but Ukyo's wig is tough. I found one colour closest to his hair colour, but the length was too short.

Looks like I'll just be using the pictures as reference until the next spree comes, I guess. I think I better confirm with Yu whether I'm still Kaito (can we just skip EOY altogether instead and just have a photoshoot somewhere? ><). Because it's in December, meaning I am not confirmed whether I'll be having piano lessons. If I can have lessons before 1pm, perfect. Otherwise, I'll just terminate altogether. And I managed to find his costume on taobao.

Hn, Gaius organising a karaoke session on recess week to welcome the newcomers. Okay, I really need to get back to work. Just helped to set up a new monitor for a colleague. Haha, I like doing things like that. Dad teaches me the technology stuff, and he's nice enough to let me use the new Samsung Ace phone when my sis went to change a new phone. Actually I didn't want to use a new phone until my plan expires next September (yes, a bloody long year), but because my new phone spoiled (can't answer calls, wts), I've been using an old phone (old phones are more durable, dude) and I dislike iphones, dad gave his new phone to me. But I use my SIM card and even took out the new microSD card so that I could use my own. Lazy to transfer stuff is lazy.

I admit having internet on the go is useful, especially when I can just read my manga on the go without lugging my laptop around, but I still think my laptop rocks more than those handheld devices. ^^ I love my HP touchpad despite its flaws (if only it has 3G or 4G for mobile internet), because as long as I can connect to wi-fi I can access the internet. I'm an internet person. I'll also gladly transfer videos to my touchpad (it plays mp4, by the way. Come, time to learn Tsugai Kogarashi proper and also Take Off, Zigg Zagg, Just Be Friends XDDD).

AMNESIA cosplays

I'm looking at AMNESIA cosplays on curecos, and only found two Ukyo solo pictures. Sadly, I couldn't find many AMNESIA cosplays that I like, only one Shin, one Ikki that I like...no Waka. I feel like cosing both Ikki and Ukyo, even though it's insane haha. I'm inclined towards Ukyo compared to Ikki, but because we needed the four main guys first, I took Ikki. Now knowing how he needs more balls, this Ikki is going to be OOC again.

If we can find a main character (Gillian? =D), and a replacement Ikki, I'll pick Ukyo. Just to pacify those who want to and haven't seen me in long hair.

KUROKO AND MIDORIMA!!!!! MY TWO FAVOURITE CHARACTERS!!!! SHUN TOO. I didn't know Shun was so popular until I saw quite a lot of his fanart on zerochan. But Kuroko is the first shota-like character I like, besides Est. And I love how the kiseki no sedai are like "There must be something, since he came out." Awesome phantom sixth player of the kiseki  no sedai indeed. ^^

It's been ages since I've experienced the thrill of a live basketball match, and I'm getting the same feeling when reading Kuroko no Basuke. Seirin vs Shutoku. I KNEW Kiyoshi's 2nd throw would rebound - this is a shounen manga, the match won't end so fast dammit. Moreover, a draw. The mangaka refuses to let Shutoku lose a second time, so they settled for a draw.

If the later chapters mention an international youth basketball match, like tenipuri or Eyeshield 21, I'll be happy. Or better yet, a match involving the evolved kiseki no sedai.

I fucking hate Makoto. Underhanded tricks. I'll murder him. What an ass. Though Kirisaki Daiichi reminds me of Higa Chuu, haha. I'm not sorry I'm comparing Kuroko no Basuke with Tenipuri, but as sports manga go, it's hard not to compare and see the similarities. I realise I'm busier during IA than during school hours. I suppose it's because I have to do a lot of research at work, then when I reach home, I have to write my logbook entries. Now, I have to start writing my report draft. I completely have no time to watch any anime during the weekdays, nor the time to read manga now. I don't even feel like fbing, coz there's not much activity as of yet. Except for that meme which I started, haha, that was distracting and hilarious enough that I couldn't do my work. It has since died down, for which I'm glad. I need to do my work, not check fb the next day to find 20 notifications.

I used to read manga almost everyday, as and when new chapters are released that is.

I suppose I could keep this up and just spend Friday nights and the weekends catching up on manga and anime, even when I'm back to school I suppose.

wk10 assessment I

First assessment today. Not to sound boastful or anything, but I pride myself on taking my own initiative in order to get the results I want. The course of event, what to do next after one thing is done etc. The only problem now is, assuming I got my database configured and everything, is how to create a scheduler for automated daily updates. If only I can map the fields directly to the destination database...so much easier than going through the whole process of mapping to localhost and exporting the file etc. I mean, how the heck will I know to export only the updated data? SQL queries? Scripts? I've never written a script before, excuse me if I'm a noob at script-writing =.=

Stupid zencart fields. I refuse to do so many changes and confuse myself. As long as things work, who cares how simple it is? That's the point of programming - simple, clean codes.

LOL wut, my NTU sup's accent is actually comprehensive! *snickers* I've heard worse accents back in my secondary school days, and I'm hearing them in school even till now. So in a way, I'm pretty much exposed to quite a range of accents.

Okay, back to work. I've quite a lot to do. And I'll start on my report when I reach home.

I don't know if he knows. Even if he does, I don't particularly care. It's just them wanting to pair people up, that's all. Don't ask me why. Whatever I say, no matter how I protest, it's useless. I should have that much experience already to know how to react during such situations.

I myself don't mind because it's just teasing, and I know it's not real, but I know there are people getting irritated by this. I'm simply more easy-going, but if I'm unhappy I'll say it out. It's not as if the other party likes me and then people are teasing us because of that. If I'm not interested I'll probably get irritated.

Welcome party was fun, especially my station: Anime Paper Telephone. It was amusing, especially how the message gets distorted halfway even if the first person is an excellent artist. But I did witness some pros who could tell what it was from a messy drawing and produce it in a more recognisable way, or some trolls who added extra stuff to throw them off....*looks at some people in particular* All in all it was very fun. We should play this more often ^^

I can't play basketball, but somehow those sports manga inspire you and you know how the scoring system is like XD And considering how my sec school had exciting basketball matches, I kinda spent my sec school days experiencing the intensity of basketball matches. It switched to soccer in JC, but still these two sports are kind of interesting.
