I love the show. The plot was good. Very nice flow, very real scenarios too. Character development was good, especially Haru.

But what I really love about Haru is his expressions. That part where Rin hugged him, Haru's expression reminded me of Suiren from Hibi Chouchou. (Yes I love Suiren a hell lot. I ship Suiren and Kawasumi like mad.) Ok, that's not the point. The point is, I am pretty much in love with Haru's expressions and Haru. They are precious.





I like this song. I'm not a crazy fan of Mamo-tan, but I like his voice. He sings pop songs very well. Comparatively, I prefer Kishow's voice. It's better projected. Somehow. Might be the rock songs he sings in Granrodeo.

I can't be bothered anymore. What's the point when you think it's right to do things this way just because it's fun, and then when something of your expertise is screwed up you become anal as hell? Dude, just because I'm anal about it, doesn't mean you can say things like "Aiya I'll just go with the flow because I think it sounds right." Then you nitpick at visual details and the like. It's not like I didn't try to listen to your advice and nitpicking? Can't you do the same for something I nitpick about? It's not like I don't improvise either, but when it comes to main melodies I always try to stick to the original theme/tune. There is a reason why the main tune is composed that way. However you want to arrange it's your problem, but the main tune must be present.

I never said I don't know fun. I never said anything about how a certain props details should be done. You can nitpick a design detail -don't tell me you don't cringe or flip tables at slight deviations. Or even criticise others. Knowing you, I'm not buying that at all.

I can't care less what you think of me. I'm not the object of your affections, I'm not the person you talk to about personal matters, neither am I important in your life. Why should I be concerned how lowly you think of me? I'm not good enough to consider myself of high importance. I'm not sociable enough for people to even notice my presence. If you think I downgrade myself too much, then too bad. I was brought up knowing my limits, knowing my flaws, knowing I can never be as good as others, but not to the extent of having low self esteem. I don't call it modesty - I call it "knowing my own limits and strengths and how there will always be others better than me.

Be relieved I'm even ranting it out on a platform. When there comes a day where I don't even have anything to rant about even though the matter is questionable, you'll know I'm numb to emotions.

I shall be honest. There are cosplays done by my friends which I don't agree with. As in, I don't agree with their portrayal of the characters. Which is why I would prefer to do characters I can pull off better. Mostly to do with the feel. I don't find my features very appealing, which is why more than half the time I don't like how my cosplays turned out in pictures. It may mean I need to find the best angle to fully capture the image I want to show. It's like how some people's expressions are bland - it's the same no matter what character you cosplay! The same kind of pose! The same head tilt, the same expression, the same angle! But I may be passed off as "jealous" or "You aren't a superb coser as well what makes you think you can judge me?" Well too bad, even a noob like me can give opinions.

We always say "No one is perfect." but at times we just have our pet peeves and things that we cannot agree about. We bring it up, we either get told off or there will be people trying to calm us down saying "Nah it's up to the individual." I didn't even say it in a criticising tone, or anything demeaning or rude. A perfectly neutral comment can be interpreted in so many ways that harbour "ill intentions".

I wish people will just stop being so hypocritical. Sadly, this will never happen. Human nature.

I made a quiz. Hopefully it's not that hard, but it's just barely touching the surface haha. I'm not sugarcoating anything - most of the answers can be found by how I fangirl. I'm amused. Someone else wants to recruit Maple Heroes for Cosfest 2014. All I can say is, I'll just do my best and be a nice, suave Phantom. And my team will definitely be more awesome. We strive for the very best after all. Among the Heroes, the Phantom and Luminous are the most elusive - both of us aren't that well-known. Which is a good thing. I guess. Can't be bothered. It's not like I talk to you anyway.

I'm strong

I like to think that I'm stronger than people think I am. But in actual fact, I'm just more apathetic towards things, if you would excuse the bouts of temper flare which merely shows how irritated I am. Anyone will agree it beats masking what I really feel, because they don't know why there is this dark, menacing aura surrounding me.

I am easy-going, but I am not nice. I am scary when need be. I'm not afraid to admit it. Pray there be a day where I have an excuse to beat the shit out of anyone who crosses my path because of all the pent up anger.

I just witnessed my colleague's immediate resignation today. I think she couldn't handle it anymore; the stress and unreasonable demands and expectations. I can understand, because we are both rather hotheaded and blunt. But I agree, I'm here for what I enjoy. Nothing will stop me from doing what I enjoy. Otherwise, the passion that I supposedly have is artificial. Besides, I did enjoy meeting foreign friends, even if it's a brief event. Though hectic, last week was fun, especially when I warmed up to our guests after we went drinking (first time for me).

My hatsukoi is music. Even if I find myself becoming asexual. I am not interested in false hope, because it only adds to this growing pang of loneliness which, at the same time, is being channeled into a void. Given time, I'll move on.

I'll walk this path alone, as I've always done.

From today onwards, nothing, I repeat, nothing will sway me from the path I've set for myself. Even if it's a path to destruction, at least I'll die happy.

USS was kinda fun, though I was sad Battlestar Galactica wasn't open. Shorter queues at the other rides, plus it's like 64 people at one go. But I had fun at Revenge of the Mummy - Yusuke-kun screaming beside me made me laugh a bit too hard, even though I told him "It's ok, don't worry.", he was like "No this is not alright!". Well, I've attended TM Revolution's solo concert last year. It's good enough for me.

Sunday is Valvrave Night. WTF. Zzzzzz Much as I love Angela, I won't go because of past experiences - Anisong concerts usually end late. Plus, it's a Sunday night. I have no means of transport to get home, and I'm not paying for midnight charges.

Why can't they name Friday DJ Night? You have Livetune. You have Hachiouji P. You have Motsu and DJ Kaya. Pray tell me, ain't it DJ Night?

Well, this time I doubt I'll be buying VIP tickets for this year's concert, plus I'm only going for Friday's concert. Not interested in Saturday's, and I'll turn down Sunday's for practical reasons. I kinda regret buying VIP for last year's concert; I went along because of friends. But mark my words I will to save up for the next Piano Guys concert. MOST EXPENSIVE TICKET. And also wait patiently for next year's STGCC and Anisong concert.

But I'm definitely going in on Saturday. AFA has more doujin booths than other events. I'm prepared to spend on Haruka, Mukkun, Himuro, and other stuff I see that captures my attention. No more cushions. No shirts. I know people think keychains and badges are useless. I used to think so too, my first priority being magazines and artbooks and photobooks. Until I decided to decorate my belongings. What better way than to use keychains and badges to make some plain thing look more colourful?

Personally, I prefer the Shingeki cosplay version because I am not a Kpop fan. Yep. *shifty eyes*

BUT. But if I were to put my biasness aside, Shinhwa's dance is more professional. Smoother. Sleeker. Props to the cosplayers for doing it rather well though, especially the Levi cosplayer. She's the best out of the lot. Very sexy moves. XD

Who says you can't cosplay and dance? I'LL SHOW YOU. Mark my words I'll learn the Gobusters vs Gokaiger dance.

Too bad I haven't seen something like this locally. Meh. No one to choreograph. I have this AU headcanon that Himuro and Kagami are a hiphop and breakdancer duo. I mean, how cool is that to see these American returnees dance?

I admit I don't have male cosplayers whom I fangirl over. Most of the cosplayers I admire are female. Mainly because of my preference for beautiful, sharp features. I am okay with pretty, cute, handsome, but the kind of features that WILL ATTRACT ME are beautiful and sharp, bordering cool.

Sadly, the 2D world have more of those characters ^^;

In real life, I go for the personality. Why else do you think I'm pretty much, and still am obsessed with Joe? He's my absolute number one favourite tokusatsu character, followed by Kouga, then Ryuuta, Ankh, Kengo. But I realise, if I don't see any kuuderes, my second favourite would be danderes and the mischievous and obviously seme types.

Piano Guys in Singapore on September 2

The Piano Guys concert was standing ovation awesome. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. They were so interactive with the audience!

I want them to come back to Singapore, and next time I am most determined to buy the most expensive ticket, and get their autographs. They did sell autographed posters at $20, but erm, I prefer CDs and meeting them in person? I managed to get up and close to them when they emerged for the autograph session and passed by (lol I'm amused by the lack of crowd when they appeared. Everyone went to queue huh). Sadly, thesigning queue was so long Kei, Retsuya and I decided, hey, it's good enough we can see them up close, next time we'll try to get their autographs if it's possible.

Next time, if there is a night concert, I will take leave for the next day.

I am actually inspired to do my own mash-ups. I need to brush up on my improvisation skills because I suck at remembering tunes. Which....should be the reason for doing perfect mash-ups since I can somehow transition from one tune to another without warning.

Next person on my list - Marasy. Do or die, if he ever comes to Singapore, I WILL TAKE LEAVE, SHOO EVERY TOUHOU FAN ASIDE AND FIGHT THEM IF I MUST, BUY HIS CD, GET HIS AUTOGRAPH, TAKE PICTURE WITH HIM.

There are other artistes and musicians, both official and Youtube and Niconico, whom I fangirl over. To name some, Pudding, Shirotan, Yuyan, Kajiura Yuki, Shikata Akiko, Marasy, Pia-no-Jac, The Piano Guys. I like Piko's songs, but I'm not so crazy a fan ^^;

Are there job openings for events like these? I seriously will take up the job so that I can interact with the performers if I ever get the chance to. Lucky souls. I've always enjoyed the job of being a backstage crew, because hey, you get to be up and close with the performers as compared to being part of the audience. Plus it's always fun doing the manual work.
