I've been waiting to share my excitement about LDH going international. About fucking time, methinks. I don't care that others have done it earlier, I care that they have been preparing to expand their activities overseas and reach out to the world.

People who make comments about sales, numbers and how 3JSB can't compete with Johnny's obviously don't understand how LDH works. To be fair, I don't know everything myself, but to be honest, I've been constantly surprised by how much involvement the members have in the concerts they put up, the album arrangements, the publications.

I'll continue to support LDH and get inspired by them to do better. ^^

Initial rage and irritation aside, I don't believe this for a second. That full bucket of salt is right there.

1) The source is a tabloid. Plus this Arama writer is biased against LDH, or 'mainstream artists' for that matter. I'm not even surprised he'll write this to further his disdain for LDH and convince people that LDH is as shitty as he makes them to be.

2) Said proof isn't solid because it can mean anything. Year-end promotion business expense can mean anything, especially if the dates aren't specified, no seal of approval etc. Like promoting new music releases. I'm a journalist, I know how to manipulate and crop pictures.

Burning is actually the one reported to have bought the win. Burning is what's known as a "keiretsu", and keiretsu generally have power over mulitiple management companies such as LDH. Acts under the Burning "keiretsu" have won around 16 out of the past 20 "Song of the Year" awards. On top of that, Burning has reportedly already picked who they want to win for this year.

Even more disgusting is the voting is done with a delegate from Burning present and it isn't a blind vote as it's supposed to be.

If you're a long time fan of Japanese music, it's not surprising to hear the process is rigged, but I don't think anyone ever expected evidence of it.

If this is true, then LDH has no control and is innocent. All you're doing is exposing the corrupt system that has been going on for years, and LDH is caught up in it because of 3JSB's popularity. Don't give me this crap, thank you very much.

If possible, I really want LDH or Hiro to release a statement about this. Because it's seriously bad news and that tabloid magazine can be sued for defaming. This is yet another example of "Don't believe everything you see on the internet". Like saying Omi's getting married, or that Ryuji might be gay. That was low.
