But I do want to cosplay High & Low. I've also planned it for next year. No backing out, self.
In the meantime, I will find ways and means to modify my unused costumes. Due to everyone moving on, I believe we'll never touch the plans that were never fulfilled. Because I had already made some of the costumes, I felt it was literally a fucking waste of money if I threw them away.
Speaking of unfulfilled plans (especially when I was invited to the team), it used to annoy me because I.had.already.paid.to.make.them. Empty promises. Now, I'm thinking of upcycling and personalising the costumes to make them more presentable as outfits for day-to-day wear.
I'm dedicating my time and efforts to find costumes where I can also wear normally. Because I am consciously making an effort to reduce wastage and clear space. Because I am adopting a more minimalist lifestyle. Because I am trying not to splurge. Because I'm at the planning period where every cent is important....
