The interesting part about x.2 was the fashion parade. Some of the cosplayers left an impression on me. Too many vocaloids, as usual. (If I were to do vocaloids I won't even bother doing one for an event. A mini one will be fine, but not for an event. Meh. Though I plan to do Tsugai Kogarashi Kaito for Arts Fiesta so that my wig isn't wasted. Or at least wear that blue wig when dancing Bad Apple. I refuse to cosplay Loveless for Arts Fiesta - I will bake, and I don't want to act half my age in school dammit.)

As of yet, I have no plans for next year, but I swore that Cosfest XII (or maybe even STGCC'13) will be my last cosplay. Then I will be on hiatus until we decide to have plans for a team. I want a Legendary Pokemon Gijinka and maybe DN Angel cosplay someday. And if people want to throw me into otome game cosplays, I don't mind either. (Toki no Kizuna looks interesting. NO PLEASE I REFUSE TO DO UTAPURI'S REN WTF. Unless you get me a real saxophone. I'd rather do La Corda, dammit. At least I am more comfortable with classical music than that- that bubblegum pop. >< Seriously, I know I'll dig anything related to music, and UtaPuri's seiyuu cast is fantastic, but I didn't have any favourite characters. I like Tokiya the best, simply because of his hairstyle and the fact that he's, well, blue. I like Satsuki too because he's badass. But other than that, meh.)

Apparently one entry isn't enough, and that 300th entry about D2 Gakuen and Gokaiger isn't enough >.> Haha, oh well, I miss Gokaiger, and I am planning to rewatch it.

I'm excited about my 11-day Japan trip, which I extended from the original 5-day (because of Fuji Q. I want to play there if I have the chance! The rides look exciting!). Though it means I have to save up starting from today, dammit. And invest in a camera. And work damn hard so that I won't regret the results I get this semester.

What I love

Everything.

The pirate theme, the characters, the action scenes, the kizuna the sentai share, the villain that is Basco, the backstories each crew member has, Sid-senpai, the OST, the OP and ED songs.

I love the flaws that make this show less bland. I love their character development from start to finish. I love the humour infused in some episodes, even if I went "WTF?!" at some. I love the whole plot, and the setting, partly due to my love for astronomy and the space beyond Earth.

I am awed by how effing agile Gokai-Oh is - first impression it gave me was "Holy stars in the galaxy, this is a Gundam not a sentai zoid." I love the CGI in that first episode. I love how Marvelous can also be shipped with the previous Red Senshi, especially Alata. I love Joe's rare expressions despite his kudere personality - they were so precious. It shows that he's actually not a mere ice block. Badass describes Joe and Marvelous to the T. Hade ni ikuze!

I love Joe.

What I dislike

How people find some of them boring. Actually, I was a little disappointed by Hakase's backstory because I thought he could really be someone great. They didn't really talk about his amnesia thing. But the way he rescued Marvelous was awesome, really.

And Luka, why no Yellow Charge? Joe, why no all blue fighting scene? Give me that in the crossover movie, then I might just forgive you. I suppose Joe is the epitome of cool that he's pretty much a one-man show who doesn't give a crap about things like that except his destroyed dessert.

I would be lying if I say I dislike Mabe/Joe - they are so canon I weep - but I dislike how Joe is always portrayed as the uke. To me, they are equally seme. Just because Joe's the loyal first mate, doesn't mean he listens to Marvelous every time. Dude, he's another strong-headed mule who would fight with his captain and make him see sense if he can help it.

I hate Joe.

The ships

I am very particular about them. My OTPs are so few it can be counted with one hand. And my ships usually can go both ways, as and when I like it. (I prefer equality, partly because of my own strong-headed personality.) What I ship is not the pair itself, but the chemistry they have.

Here, I'm a fan of Mabe/Joe or Joe/Mabe. They are my third OTP (after DenSu/SuDen and Ankh/Eiji). I like Luka/Don too, and Luka/Ahim, and Gai/Don or Don/Gai. Unfortunately, I can't see myself liking Joe/Ahim or Joe/Luka. I'd rather Mabe/Ahim and Mabe/Luka. If one simply has to include Joe with the girls, I'd rather it be the sentai crew. After all, they are crewsexual. ^^

Now I'm tempted to write fics, most probably AU setting. But I am busy!!! ><

And Marvelous Gokai Changing into GoseiRed to escape the destroyed Gigant Horse. I love how Navi makes a beeline for Marvelous - the way that roboparrot hugs that captain is so d'awww...XDD And Mabe's love for curry, haha. I love how they returned the powers to the previous sentai. I love how the next target is the Zangyack home planet - dude, fanfic inspiration!

I am looking forward to Go-Busters because it's related to technology, Jinnai Sho (Jinshan? LOL) has a very evil expression on his face, and they use motorbikes. Rather Kamen Rider IMO, but nonetheless cool =D

It's the last episode of Gokaiger! Me, I don't feel particularly sad. Yes I've enjoyed the series as much as any other fan, but all good things must come to an end, yes? It's the memories that makes it all the worthwhile as you recall all the things you loved, the things you abhorred, the characters you wanted to hug, the characters you wanted to smack, the characters you ship, the characters you don't ship....I started Gokaiger only when it was already at episode 40 because I got into the sentai scene just last November, but I've enjoyed every episode I watched.

Time to move on, guys. Besides, I have the episodes to rewatch again and again, what's there to miss? XDDD

I'm being practical here.

Garo Makai Senki with its awesome fight scenes. OTL And its henshin, short and sweet. Right, not sweet. But honestly, Leo, you amuse me. (yes I read up) Technically he's the antagonist, but well, he's an awesome villain like Basco. Wait, wait, we don't know any big boss yet do we? ^^

Garo Makai Senki is more awesome than S1. =D More Rei instead of merely Kouga taking all the limelight, more awesome fights, more interesting story development than mere Horrors, and dude, the Makai Priests!

I'm actually okay with that. The only type of villains I absolutely detest are those who refuse to stay dead. Those with disregard for underlings and "comrades" are just plain assholes and all I want to do is smack them. Not worth my dislike, haha.

Watching all three repeats because their introductions and falsettos crack me up and yes I admit I'm watching it for Yuki alone now shut up and let me do my work until the next broadcast. I wish I could record it, but the audio sucks. Tried and tested. Unless I am in a quiet environment, I won't be able to get a clean sound or at least one good enough to hear their dialogue.

My knowledge of English and Chinese songs are pathetic. Ever since I started listening to Japanese songs, I haven't much contact with English songs except through Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

And let's not talk about Chinese songs. I've never liked Chinese pop in the first place, not because I didn't like the language (hey, I can still read Chinese, even if my writing sucks), but because I couldn't stand the gaga over the artistes. Same about Korean songs. I cannot stand the gaga over the artistes, though I appreciate the talented ones. And besides, Kpop is boring.　つまらないなぁ。。。

Where are the rock bands? I only know FT Island and CN Blue. Where is the oriental pop/rock? None that I know of.

I AM SLOW. Though it was just released recently, so being a few days late is fine...lol.

My favourite songs are still Trust Me and Lonely Rain. Fuyu Sora is nice too. Plus, after watching 5cm Per Second and seeing all the visuals I swear I will never tear my eyes away from the beauty of nature ever again. And any PV involving nature and piano is an instant win with me. XDD

I'd love to say visual porn, but it's quite insulting to such beauty. Haha.

Will wait for his second album 2U on Feb 22. =D

As I said before, I'm in a love-hate relationship with Joe. He's my favourite, yet trying to get his costume as accurate as possible is a freaking pain in the ass. And I really cannot understand why Joe is the uke when he's actually pretty seme himself. He and Mabe are rather dominant in their own ways. Seeing those fanart of Joe looking like an uke kind of annoys me, much as I like Mabe/Joe. Or maybe I'm just biased.

No more 3D chara- wait, I promised Odebu-chan I'd do R-Ryoutarou if he does Deneb!Yuuto.

THIS. THIS FIC. No Soul So Desolate (Decade/Gokaiger, 1/4) It's so much darker, so much more awesome than the Super Hero Taisen, plot-wise. But somewhat AU, since it's set post-Zangyack war. And we know the Zangyack Empire can never take over Earth.

(D-Boys member Takahashi Ryuki, heh =D) I think Ryuusei is an ass, but it's always the case for secondary riders, can't say anything about that...except the tsundere Yuuto and idiotic Date-san. Maa, Gotou-san is also pretty alright. 8DD

I know, I'm busy and I kinda paused Garo at episode 13.

I only touched the first episode of Makai Senki too.

Plus now I've lab to do, and tutorials to do (at least for AI - if I don't do them I'll not understand a single shit. Forget 301 - I dislike tutorials that ask you to code. I might as well do lab instead.)

Anyway, I'm liking this 【腐】ご夫婦詰め even though I disagree that they're a married couple. Though I'm a little O_o because after all the shit Mabe went through due to Basco, I'm now positively leaning towards Joe/Mabe rather than Mabe/Joe.

Because Joe is a kudere.

And because if you put me in the mixture, the characters I do won't be easily dominated by anyone. Not Marvelous, not even Basco. I swear I'll put a bullet through Basco's head instead of Marvelous if we have a Basco in our team faster than you can say GokaiGalleon.

(Not saying I don't welcome a Basco, just that it's the first mate's instincts to stand by his captain. =D)

I shall be more open-hearted when it comes to sentai - in sentai, any pairing can be shipped. One may have preferences, but still, I'm generally more accepting of other pairs beside the ones I ship.

Like Mabe/Basco, for instance. I don't ship them, but I accept this pair (and with good reason). As long as you give me some Joe/Mabe afterwards, lol. XDDD I don't exactly like Joe/Ahim or Joe/Luka, because I prefer Mabe/Ahim and Luka/Don, and yet I can't bring myself to ship Sid/Joe UNLESS it's past Sid/Joe and current Mabe/Joe.
