Music spree

Listening to new singles from Generations from Exile Tribe and Sandaime J Soul Brothers remind me once again how I fell in love with their songs. Anyone who says EXILE is very Kpop obviously need to dig their ears. The style is COMPLETELY different.

I swear, every time I watch their videos, I want to stand up and start dancing along. I'm no dancer, I don't have formal training, but I do appreciate dances and wouldn't mind if people drag me to hip hop classes.

Since dance and music go well together, why not? ^^

Though I'm rather picky.....

Now I want to add EXILE to my list of "Concerts I want to attend at least once in my life". Others include Matsushita Yuya, Toku anniversary concert, The Piano Guys (again), Mnozil Brass, London Philharmonic Winds.

EXILE PLEASE COME TO SG. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE UNDER AVEX. I'LL PAY TO ATTEND.

Gaim ends.

I'm an INTJ

I'm a mastermind.

=====

Gaim has ended. 47 episodes. Time to start watching from where I left off~ I love myself a good marathon. Makes it all the more exciting.

The only series I'm faithfully watching is Garo. And now I'm at the part where Raiga also turned rogue. Similar to his father haha. What. Sheesh. Can't say I dislike the design, but bitch, die.

My resolve

I've decided to cosplay Kouta on AFA Saturday. If not I'll never have the chance to debut. I bought the stuff dammit. Also, it's simple and easy to move around in such a crowded place.

Yes I'm learning to go solo.

(At least I won't spend all my free time surfing the net or playing RO and then get bored because it's so unproductive and pretty much an effective sleeping potion. Prop-making here I come.)

I saw the recent pictures of Kouta with platinum blonde hair (fail wig. Pfft) and wearing something rather regal. King of Helheim. Time to pick up the series from where I left off.

=====

Alright. Backlog of shoots. I must come up with a prop-making schedule. I've too many unfinished props to do by AFA and December. Procrastination isn't going to get me anywhere.
My life doesn't center around cosplay. So I am striving towards not being irritated by others' attitude towards it. I'm successful so far. All I want is to have fun and let my hard work pull off. Who cares about what others think? I certainly don't. It's nice to meet new friends and discover new interests. It's nice when people compliment your hard work. But hey. Their opinions don't affect my life. I love music more. I love reading more. I would rather travel overseas and explore.

I'm at ease.

Sigh.....

This whole fiasco is draining. I've better and more important things to do than engage in arguments that won't make the issue go anywhere unless the people in question provide answers. Debating morals and all that jazz is bound to get out of hand. The only reason why I decided to be slightly involved (thank goodness my circle is negligible) is because I have something against people making assumptions based on what they see currently and blowing things out of proportion when they never stop to consider nor think about the possible root of the problems/ issues. If they did, they never mentioned it. Truths and facts get distorted along the way. The Internet is not omnipotent. Sometimes, the goodness of your heart can make things worse because you don't know anything. People see what they want to see.

Why are we considered an educated society? Just because you have a higher degree than I do? All these basic things seem to be lost on us.

I still think humanity is fucked up. Nothing has changed my mind.

On a side note, THIS

Man, I wish life were simpler sometimes.

20 facts

Taken from FB, given by Miura. Because I'm lazy to post it on FB. I've probably done this several times. No point also.

1) I am relatively apathetic.
2) I get along better with kids, or younger people, better than with those older than me.
3) I am fine with anything other than heterosexuality (there's bi, homo, pan, demi etc.)
4) Coz I don't believe one's preferences has much to do with their core character. It doesn't make them a lesser person, you self-absorbed prick. Don't you dare impose your views on others just because you find it revolting.
5) I haven't read manga since December last year. My backlog is horrendous.
6) I dislike popularity contests, and pretty much avoid them.
7) Recently, I realise the male idols I fangirl over all have a similar trait - the potential to look good if/when they crossdress. Despite their muscles.
8) So far, 80% have done so. They looked very stunning. OTL
9) My lifelong goal is to travel around the world, or at least step out of Asia.
10) I prefer nature and scenery to bustling cities.
11) I do like the night scenery in the cities though. The lights are pretty.
12) I like BBC Sherlock, LOTR and Hobbit, Dr Who.
13) I am obsessed (in my relatively sane way) over Thranduil and Lee Pace.
14) I never watched Star Trek the Original series (I did watch the Alternate movies), but I'm a hopeless Spirk shipper. I don't know why or how it happened.
15) I believe I've cosplayed more long-haired characters than short-haired ones. How/why did this happen?? >.>
16) Someday I would like to cosplay a female character of my own volition.
17) I have a good sense of direction.
18) I enjoy urban fantasy series.
19) I'm a music addict.
20) I'm not cute dammit.

Bow and quiver

This is what I made for the Hobbit fan video. I haven't made the handle for the quiver yet, but hell, it's a stepping stone and NO ONE should ask me how I made this. Pro prop-makers will slaughter me alive.

The quiz isn't up yet. Good. Time to focus on the video segment until the quiz comes out. I will arrange another song in the meantime and plan how I want to do the video.

In more concrete detail.

Need to start filming some parts. And record my voice.

RO: Ranger tentative plan

My new tentative plan for 2015.

Well, for game classes, I've always had a preference for thieves. I believe I was influenced by the fantasy books I read when I was younger? Adventure tales of a ragtag/misfit bunch that somehow always involve a rogue or thief on the run etc. Those unlikely heroes and whatnot. I was fascinated by the idea of a rogue or assassin that hides in the shadows, yet they have their own moral code or whatever. Fast, cunning, lethal, doing things unseen, silent killers etc. This spilled over to games, hence no matter what others say, I'll always pick the thief class as my starting character.

My favourite from RO is Guillotine Cross, followed by Shadow Chaser. Sadly, GX has too much armour, and I'm not up to standard yet. As for SC, much as I'm okay with the class, he bares more than Ranger. As much as possible, I'd like to avoid the need for special chest binding.

Third choice, however, is Ranger. Simple, and yet cool. Come on, look at that bow. Making that bow successfully, to me, equates to one step closer to fulfilling my dreams of cosplaying an elf.

I am amazed and amused by how my friends just pinpointed THESE THREE classes when they analyse who suits what haha. It just so happens I like the classes they fit me with. Might be because of my skinny frame.

Time to build abs and muscles. If I'm going to expose my midriff and biceps, I should at least give people something nice to see right? Part of a cosplayer's dedication for accuracy and aesthetics. Besides, this isn't the only cosplay in which I need to tone my muscles, might as well.
